Bold & Tangy Salmon Skewers

Succulent salmon, vibrant red onions, and sweet peppers come together in perfect, delicious harmony with Just Savor Southern Sweet Heat Seasoning. Grilled to perfection, they are balanced with a hint of sweetness and a kick of heat.

Bold & Tangy Salmon Skewers

What You Need:
1 lb salmon fillets | cut into chunks
1 red onion | cut into chunks
1 red bell pepper | cut into chunks
1 cup fresh pineapples | cut into chunks
1 cup cherry tomatoes

Prep Tip: Soak the Wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using.

For the Marinade:
2 tablespoons Just Savor Southern Sweet Heat Seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste

For the Glaze:
½ cup Just Savor Bold & Tangy BBQ Sauce
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

What To Do:
Whisk together the Just Savor Southern Sweet Heat Seasoning, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl to make the marinade. Place the salmon, red onion, and bell pepper chunks in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon and vegetables, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to combine.

Thread the marinated salmon, red onion, and bell pepper chunks onto the soaked wooden skewers, alternating between ingredients. Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until the salmon is cooked and the vegetables are tender and slightly charred. During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the skewers with the Just Savor Bold & Tangy BBQ Sauce, allowing it to caramelize slightly.

Once the salmon is cooked through and the vegetables are tender, remove the skewers from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter.
