00:40With this title, today we will talk a little bit about Darood-e-Paak's beautiful collection of Darood-e-Paak.
00:56And we will tell you that this Darood-e-Paak collection,
01:02its author, the importance of this book, and especially among all the Sufis,
01:11all the saints and saints of Darood-e-Paak and Munajat for centuries,
01:24this Darood-e-Paak and Munajat collection of Darood-e-Paak and Darood-e-Paak has made its recitation their routine.
01:41This book, this Darood-e-Paak and Darood-e-Munajat collection,
01:47is a collection of Darood-e-Paak and Darood-e-Munajat.
01:52In the order of their words, in the usage of their words, in the praise and exaltation of Allah,
02:00this book and this collection is full of such praise and exaltation from the heart,
02:09with those words and with those names.
02:19If the reader is not able to understand the translation,
02:26then in each and every word of this book, the reader feels himself close to Allah,
02:34and while reciting Darood-e-Paak, he feels himself present in the presence of Aka Kareem Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
02:42and he feels the light and manifestation of the presence of Aka Kareem Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
02:50And you can guess the acceptance of this book from the fact that
02:56even today, after 800 years,
03:02on this land of Allah, the Lord of Glory,
03:06the saints, the Sufis, the Ahlullah,
03:10regardless of their spiritual affiliation,
03:14they have made this collection of Darood-e-Paak and Munajat their own.
03:22It is part of their Wazaif, it is part of their Auraad,
03:27and on a daily basis, reciting its Hizb, i.e. its Manzil,
03:33is a source of happiness and a source of blessings for them.
03:37The original Arabic name of this book is
03:41Dalailul Khairat wa Shabariqul Anwar
03:45Fi Dhikr-e-Salaati wa-Salaam-e-Ala Nabi-ul-Mukhtar Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
03:52The author of this book is Abu Abdullah Sayyid Muhammad bin Sulaiman al-Jazuli
04:00may Allah have mercy on him.
04:03He was a saint in Marrakesh.
04:07He passed away in Marrakesh.
04:10I will give a brief account of his life.
04:13He was well-known for his knowledge, virtue, piety, Taqwa,
04:17Allah-Rabbu-l-Izzat, being a Mustajab-ud-Dawat,
04:21and for all his moral and spiritual qualities.
04:29An incident took place which became the reason for writing this book and the Darood-e-Paak collection.
04:38Once, he went to a well for ablution.
04:48He saw that the water level was low and there was no bucket to take out the water.
04:55He was astonished and wondered how to get the water out of the well.
05:02In a short while, a woman in a hijab approached him.
05:07She recognised Prophet Muhammad bin Sulaiman al-Jazuli.
05:13She said,
05:14You are Prophet Muhammad bin Sulaiman al-Jazuli,
05:17who is well-known for his Taqwa, purity, worship and prayers.
05:23He said,
05:24Yes, I am.
05:25She asked,
05:26Why are you standing here?
05:28He said,
05:29I am standing here to get the water out of the well, but there is no bucket.
05:35She said,
05:38You are such a well-known Sufi,
05:43and you are waiting for a bucket to get the water for ablution.
05:51He remained silent.
05:53She stayed there for a few moments
05:57and saw that the water level of the well was so low that it reached the level of his hand.
06:10He was astonished.
06:12He asked the woman,
06:14How did you attain this spiritual rank and status in the presence of God?
06:24The fortunate woman replied,
06:29I attained this rank and status because I recited the Durood-e-Paak on Prophet Muhammad.
06:34He said,
06:35I also recite the Durood-e-Paak.
06:37What is the special Durood that you recite?
06:41There are seven stages in the book, Dalail ul-Khairat Sharif.
06:49Hizbul Awwal, Hizbul Sani, Hizbul Salis, Hizbul Rabi, Hizbul Khamis, Hizbul Sadis, Hizbul Sabih.
06:58The Sufi says that the Durood-e-Paak that the woman recited,
07:05the blessing of which was revealed by Imam Muhammad bin Sulaiman al-Jazuli in his book Dalail ul-Khairat Sharif.
07:11He recited and quoted the same Durood-e-Paak in the seventh stage and the seventh Hizb.
07:19What is the book?
07:22There is another miracle of His Divine Eminence.
07:25After 77 years, when His Divine Eminence opened the Mazar-e-Pur-Anwar,
07:40His body was in perfect health,
07:46and His face was as bright as ever after 77 years.
07:53This was because of the abundance of Durood-e-Paak on Prophet Mohammad.
07:58I am not going to mention the benefits of Durood-e-Paak,
08:01I am just giving a brief introduction.
08:04We are fortunate to be able to talk about this Dalail ul-Khairat Sharif today.
08:08Allahu Akbar.
08:38The passion for servitude in the presence of Allah,
08:41the desire to ask the Lord for something in the form of words and recitations,
08:47is being transmitted through these blessed words.
08:53There are seven Hizbs,
08:57and there is a stage of recitation every day.
09:02Since there are seven days of the week,
09:07it is customary for the saints to recite one stage every day.
09:11And on the day when the last stage, the seventh, ends,
09:15they recite the first stage as well.
09:18This is because on the day it ends, it is the last day,
09:22and on the next day, the next stage begins.
09:26And this cycle continues.
09:28And then,
09:31there are different stages of recitation,
09:34which begin on different days of the week.
09:38Usually, it begins on the day of the Peer and ends on the day of the Peer.
09:44And in the Chishti and Nizamiya,
09:49it begins on the day of Jummah and ends on the day of Jummah.
09:54I have spoken about the recitation of the Durood-e-Pak,
09:59which is a tradition of the spiritual elders.
10:02The beautiful combination of the words of the Durood-e-Pak,
10:07and the selection of the words,
10:13the truth is that each word of the Durood-e-Pak
10:19is a sign of the acceptance of Allah, the Lord of Honour.
10:23Please pay attention.
10:53Allah had al-Qiyas.
11:07And remember, the names of the Prophet,
11:15and the miracles of the Prophet,
11:19and the perfection of the body of the Prophet,
11:25are all in this book.
11:29The names of the Prophet,
11:32the attributes of the Prophet,

11:48and the greatness of the Prophet,
11:53and the status of the Prophet,
11:58are all mentioned in these beautiful words
12:02by Imam Muhammad bin Sulaiman Jazuli.

12:42especially with regards to Durood-e-Paak.

14:02It is a great honor for me to read the Durood-e-Paak and make it a part of my life.
14:18One special thing about it is that even today, it is allowed to be written in different languages.
14:33It is recited weekly in different khanqahs.
14:37The Durood-e-Paak has been translated into many languages.
14:49I am very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to write about it.
15:03May Allah give me the opportunity to recite the Durood-e-Paak in front of you.
