00:00What is the role of the healthcare sector in the future?
00:06The healthcare sector and its indissoluble link,
00:09relationship concepts, employment, communication,
00:12are the ones around which the new concept of digital assistance revolves.
00:16It is the message that comes from Bologna, from the Convenio Connected Care,
00:20promoted and organized by FNOPI,
00:22the National Federation of Healthcare Orders.
00:26The technology adds value only if it allows the delivery of new, more sustainable services,
00:32capable of meeting health needs, always keeping people at the center.
00:37Nurses, especially women and men in the community,
00:40can help in this path, together with the citizen's assistance,
00:44to help them enter this network of continuity, of care and assistance,
00:49and to be that pivot element that keeps the assistant connected
00:54with the rest of the professional team through digital healthcare tools.
00:59The government is building a new digital healthcare model,
01:03based on the electronic health record, telemedicine and artificial intelligence.
01:07The Deputy Secretary to the Presidency of the Council,
01:11with Delegate to Innovation Alessio Butti,
01:13has explained in his speech.
01:15The role of health professionals, especially nurses,
01:19as confirmed by Stefano Lorusso,
01:21Director General of the Health Information System of the Ministry of Health.
01:25They will have access to clinical data,
01:27and it will be a kind of revolution compared to the current organizational models.
01:32They are protagonists because, thanks to the tools of digital innovation,
01:35of digital transformation,
01:37they will be able to have a significant impact on organizational processes,
01:41changing them and adapting them to the needs of our assistants.
01:45One of the challenges of the digital transition
01:47is that of the protection of personal data.
01:49Innovation must be managed by balancing technology
01:52and the protection of privacy.
01:54We must be able to be transparent and guarantee
01:57to the person the most sacred of all rights,
01:59that of not having to choose between being well and seeing
02:02their own dignity and their own privacy effectively protected.
02:06The transition is also linked in two ways with that of training,
02:10to limit at most the digital fragility of citizens,
02:13which is still very present in Italy.
02:15We cannot think that the citizen alone can have training,
02:19information and above all competence to manage the digital.
02:22On the other hand, health professionals and nurses
02:25must also have digital skills,
02:28so we need training investment plans,
02:31which are already underway,
02:33and thirdly, we must improve and reorganize organizational models.
02:38We must not put the computer in bureaucratic practices,
02:41but manage the organization in a different way,
02:44making it more efficient for citizens.
