Met Office Weather 16th Sept
Transcript
00:00Eventually, though, those mist and fog patches will clear through the morning and as that
00:04high pressure builds across the country, that leaves plenty of fine and dry weather across
00:09the country and plenty of that warm autumnal sunshine with highs of 21 to 22 Celsius down
00:15in the south.
00:17Now we will see a build of high cloud into the northwest and eventually some outbreaks
00:21of rain and drizzle clipping northern parts of Scotland, but for many, a dry night on
00:26offer and plenty of those clear skies once again, so likely to see more in the way of
00:31mist and fog and it is going to be feeling cold once again, most towns and cities in
00:36the mid to high single figures.
00:39So once again, another chilly start to Tuesday and that mist and fog in some places and fairly
00:45similar to this morning, we'll see that lift and break, allowing plenty of dry and sunny
00:49spells across most of the country and feeling warm in the sunshine as we get into the afternoon,
00:54but still some cloud in the far northern part of Scotland, but that should lift and
00:59break through the afternoon too, so still seeing some sunny spells here.
01:03Once again, the best of the temperatures in the far southeast, highs of 22, but even across
01:08Scotland, Northern Ireland, highs of 20.
01:10So feeling nice and warm where you do catch the sunshine.
01:15Now is that warm weather sticking around?
01:17Well, we do currently have high pressure across the country and that is going to stick with
01:22us as we head into next week, so lots of fine and dry weather once again.
01:26We do start to get a bit more of an easterly component to the wind, so that might just
01:29drag in some low cloud into eastern areas at times and notice a squeeze in the eyes
01:34of bars to the south, so perhaps turning a little bit breezier here, but for more information
01:39on that, don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel so that you never miss an
01:43update.
01:44Bye for now.
