00:00His colors and patterns are so beautiful, aren't they?
00:05And don't mind it, okay?
00:08But don't be fooled by the way he looks, okay?
00:12Because he has a hidden agenda.
00:16This is the advertising of color of a venomous snake.
00:21He's saying, don't come near me because I'm venomous.
00:25I'm advertising my unique color so that you won't come near me
00:32and prevent your harm.
00:35That's how they are.
00:36That's not the only thing that happens to snakes.
00:39Even some insects and animals advertise their color
00:44to warn the other predator or even attract the vice versa.
00:50Biting,
00:52licking,
00:53and shaking.
00:55That's just a few of the things that can happen to a person
00:58who's bitten by a venomous snake.
01:02And the worst thing that can happen when you're bitten is death.
01:09Aside from its beautiful color,
01:10another thing that caught my attention in Kuya Mike's video
01:13is that it looks like it's pretending to be dead.
01:16That's true.
01:17This is just one of the defense mechanisms of the advertisers.
01:19And even though they have their own color and pattern,
01:21they also use it to their advantage.
01:24The tail of a venomous snake is the most colorful part of their body.
01:28And did you know that they use it to protect themselves?
01:32When they feel that someone is attacking them,
01:35they cover their tail so that the enemy can see it.
01:39While the enemy is hiding in the tail.
01:41The real head of a venomous snake is hidden and ready to escape,
01:45take a break,
01:46or attack.
01:48This attack is done by a mixture of insects, animals, or their prey.
01:54It doesn't chase people.
01:57It doesn't really fight.
02:01It just pretends to be dead.
02:05For us, as adults,
02:07we know that it's really agile because
02:10what the elders say is that if the snake is kind,
02:15it's really agile.
02:17But they're considered to be less dangerous to humans.
02:19Because they have small mouths and teeth.
02:22So even if people try to bite them,
02:24most of the time, it's just the skin of their tail
02:27where their venom comes from.
02:32It's on the back of their fangs.
02:34So they need to bite their prey
02:38before the venom can be delivered.
02:40If you're a big person,
02:42it's hard for them to deliver because they can't reach it.
02:45But if you can reach the ends of their fangs,
02:50most likely, they can deliver the venom right away.
02:53Here in a dangerous place,
02:56a new type of insect has been spotted.
02:59It's better to have a video, guys.
03:01What do you think this animal is?
03:03Is it a snake with horns?
03:06It's better to have an expert watch the video.
03:10Mostly, when I see snakes with horns,
03:13I can only see the small protrusion on their snout.
03:17But it's not that long.
03:19I've never seen anything like that.
03:25It's possible that they're eating their prey
03:27and they've removed their legs.
03:30It could be a possibility.
03:32It could be a possibility.
03:33But since we don't have a close-up picture,
03:36we can never tell you what it is.
03:39Really?
03:40Snakes have been spotted early
03:42and they seem new to us.
03:44But as we always remind you,
03:49safety comes first, guys.
