00:00Because of the heavy flooding and rain, the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council recommended
00:07the suspension of classes in public schools in several barangays today, September 16.
00:14The government also ordered the suspension of classes in private schools and colleges.
00:22But for the safety of teachers and students, the government is encouraging them to follow the national or localized suspension.
00:29Everyone is being told to be careful and to stay home if necessary for their safety.
00:36According to the QCLGU, it is up to the parents or guardians to decide if their children will be allowed in as a precaution for their safety.
