WATCH: Jess Jennings talks about election day in Bathurst.
Transcript
00:00I've spent a good day, busy, getting around all the polling booths, getting good reception.
00:06Another election and we'll wait and see what happens to another guy.
00:09I feel like I've been well received and I'm getting that response from all our booth workers.
00:15So I feel like we're competitive and democracy is democracy, it's up to the people to choose
00:21and realistically we had a clean out of five new councillors at the last council election.
00:27So it's a bit hard to predict I'd have to say and we'll just see.
00:31I think we'll probably know the top four or five tonight and then probably the bottom
00:37four.
00:38It's going to be a bit hard to tell and come down to that, you know, preference flow and
00:42every vote will count for that number, probably eight and nine spots perhaps.
00:47And how do you spend election night?
00:49Are you watching the voting?
00:51We'll be, our team will all be at the Vic Hotel, they have dinner there and we'll see
00:55how we go.
00:57Everyone's a bit weary to be honest but we might kick on if there's something to celebrate
01:02or I might go and say g'day to my Deputy Mayor Ben Fry up at the church bar.
