00:00Congratulations Lachie, what are your thoughts on that mate?
00:04It was good, it was a good game. We knew it was going to be tough because of course it's always a hard side, especially when you get into the final thing.
00:12With the heat too, we knew this is why we worked hard all year for the fitness and we knew it would be a grind so I think the boys did well to stick at it, especially in the heat.
00:22That said, you were pretty dominant the whole game really.
00:26What was that sorry?
00:27That said, you seemed to be pretty dominant the whole game.
00:29Yeah, we knew we came out firing from the start, we should get on top of them and we can hold that lead but we started on the back foot, we knew it would be a tough day in the office.
00:40What makes this side special? Why are you premiers do you believe?
00:44I think it's a lot of the young fellas that are coming through and a big depth in the club like having third grade this year means the boys have got to work a lot harder to keep a spot even in second grade, let alone first grade.
00:55It's a very healthy time for the club at the moment.
00:59Yeah, it's a good time, a lot going on in the community at the moment with a good season in the farming so it brings a lot of people to town and we build from it.
01:09On a personal note, what does it mean to you to captain this side?
01:12It's a good thing to do, it's not every day people want to see you as a leader so I think in those moments you've got to bring it in that you've been chosen to have the job.
01:23Great, thank you very much.
