Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi had the magic words to help one woman in distress Tuesday evening ... seemingly convincing the stranger not to jump off a bridge.

00:06Siegenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville. So at some point while he was there shooting
00:10it, he noticed this woman standing on the other side of the rails of the bridge and
00:13it looked like she was going to jump. So John Bon Jovi has this soul foundation that works
00:17with a lot of homeless people and people in crisis. So he has actually been trained in
00:20how to talk to people in those kinds of situations. There's security footage from the bridge.
00:24We don't hear what they're saying. There's no audio. But he walks up with this other
00:27woman and they talk to this lady for a while and at some point he helps her back over the
00:31rail. Might have saved her life. Sounds like he did save her life. This video was amazingly
00:35touching. Like kind of got a little misty watching this. Just the way that he approached
00:39so cautiously and gave her a space stop 15 feet away talking to her. He didn't like rush
00:43off the bridge. I wonder if she knew who he was. If I were him, and again I'm not trained
00:49in it obviously, I would probably tell her. I'm John Bon Jovi, I want to help. Yeah. You

00:58start diving over the edge.
