The Thirsty crow Moŕal Stories for kids
Transcript
00:00Once upon a time, in a lush green forest, there lived a clever crow.
00:09One hot summer day, the sun blazed fearlessly in the sky, and all the water sources dried
00:17up.
00:18The crow flew from tree to tree, searching for a drink of water.
00:23Her throat was parched and she was very thirsty.
00:27After searching for a long time, the crow finally spotted a clay pot lying under a
00:32tree.
00:33She swooped down and peered into the pot.
00:36To her disappointment, there was only a little water at the bottom of the pot.
00:42She tried to reach it with her beak, but it was too deep and her beak couldn't touch
00:48the water.
00:49The clever crow didn't give up.
00:51She looked around and noticed a pile of small pebbles nearby.
00:56An idea struck her mind.
00:58She picked up a pebble with her beak and dropped it into the pot.
01:03She picked up another pebble and dropped it in too.
01:07She kept doing this again and again.
01:11Slowly, the water level in the pot began to rise.
01:14With each pebble she dropped, the water came closer to the top.
01:19The crow worked tirelessly determined to quench her thirst.
01:24Slowly after dropping many pebbles, the water reached the brim of the pot.
01:29The crow happily dipped her beak into the water and drank deeply.
01:34Her thirst was finally satisfied.
01:38She looked around with a sense of accomplishment and flew away, feeling proud of her clever
01:44idea.
01:45From that day on, the animals in the forest remembered the crow's ingenuity.
01:52They learned an important lesson with patience and clever thinking.
01:56They could solve even the toughest problems.
02:01And so, the clever crow lived happily, always ready to use her wit to overcome any challenge
02:09that came her way.
02:11Moral of the story is, Where there is a will, there is a way.
