00:00Hello, everybody, and welcome to WWF Monday Night Raw.
00:06I'm Sean Mooney, and it is certainly Raw here in New York City.
00:09We are actually awaiting the arrival of Repo Man.
00:12And after what took place last week, Repo Man, you're a little bit late here.
00:16You mean I'm a little bit late?
00:18Nobody knows where I am at any time, and I'm here?
00:20You think I'd miss this moment?
00:22I don't know. A lot of people didn't know if you were going to show up tonight
00:24to face the Macho Man, Randy Savage, after what took place last week.
00:27This is like repossessing a brand new Cadillac.
00:30Randy Savage!
00:32I'm going to repossess your career just like I did your head!
00:36I'm here! I'm here!
00:39You better be ready for me, because I'm ready for you!
00:57Welcome to New York City!
01:15Welcome to the Manhattan Center!
01:17Welcome to Monday Night Raw!
01:20I'm Vince McMahon, along with Barbie the Great, Hedeman Rob Bartlett,
01:24and tonight you'll see the Ugandan Giant, the Mighty Kamala.
01:27And in tag team action, look out, headed your way, Luke and Butch the Bushwackers.
01:33And of course, I can't wait to see this.
01:35Macho Man, Randy Savage, versus the Repo Man.
01:38He's got Randy's hat and my car.
01:41I don't need to tell you who I'm going to be rooting for.
01:43I don't care about a junkie car or a cheap hat.
01:46The WWF is not big enough for both of them.
01:49And I'm talking about Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect.
01:52Career is on the line.
01:54You have seen the last of Mr. Perfect.
01:57Woo!
01:59Here we go!
02:04This contest is scheduled for one fall.
02:07About to enter the ring.
02:08And there's a good look at him.
02:09Repo Man with Macho Man, Randy Savage's hat on his head.
02:13Just last week, right here on Monday Night Raw,
02:16Repo Man came up from behind and attacked Macho Man, Randy Savage.
02:21Grabbed his hat and ran out into the streets of Manhattan with it.
02:25Where he towed my car, Vince.
02:28Now, you got it wrong.
02:29He repossessed your car.
02:31You must have missed the payment.
02:32And that's the best that hat's ever looked.
02:35Yeah!
02:36Repo Man looks a little ridiculous with that hat.
02:39Sort of savage.
02:40Well, Repo Man and the Macho Man, Randy Savage, have a little go at it.
02:44Oh, here we go!
02:45And right in the heart, here comes Randy Savage!
02:48Get him, brother!
02:50Come on, Repo, get up!
02:51Randy Savage all over the Repo Man!
02:54I doubt you'll see anything in the way of scientific knowledge
02:56just played in this matchup.
02:58Randy Savage, a brawler, so is the Repo Man.
03:00Savage to the outside!
03:02He's going to snap him like a Slim Jim, Vince.
03:05Oh, my!
03:06Right in the mush!
03:08Randy Savage snapping the Repo Man over and down with the knee!
03:13Savage and Repo had a little bit of a go at it
03:16at the Royal Rumble just yesterday afternoon.
03:19And now they're continuing right where they left off.
03:21Macho Man Randy Savage coming so close to winning the Royal Rumble.
03:26Coming so close to be the man to face the WWF Champion at WrestleMania.
03:31Coming so close.
03:32Coming so close.
03:33If and where but.
03:35It doesn't mean nothing.
03:36It only matters if you win.
03:37The only reason Savage is leading right now this match
03:40is because he cheap shotted Repo Man from behind.
03:43If they had started off face to face,
03:45you'd see Savage right now probably begging.
03:47Oh, really?
03:48Yes, really.
03:50Again, a hard right hand by Randy Savage.
03:52A counter by the Repo Man.
03:54Repo's got to get a hold of that hook and that rope.
03:57Over the top, Randy Savage landing on his feet.
04:00Right back in.
04:01Behind you!
04:02Behind you!
04:03Here comes Randy Savage!
04:04Drive to the Repo!
04:06All the way to the outside!
04:09Is that a flesh-colored beanie Macho's got on?
04:12I don't believe so.
04:14Randy Savage could go to the top rope.
04:17Warned by the official there.
04:19Wouldn't you love to see Savage come off the top rope
04:21and ram that elbow down on the Repo Man?
04:23Not really.
04:24Repo doesn't deserve that.
04:25Wait a minute.
04:26Repo Man's trying to leave the match.
04:28They've been in the ring about 18 seconds.
04:30They've been on the floor about four minutes.
04:32It's out of control.
04:33Randy Savage is all over the Repo Man.
04:35He will take no prisoners tonight.
04:39You know, if my hair looked like that,
04:40I'd be wearing a hat too, Vince.
04:42I think the Repo Man's gonna be upset
04:43if you keep making remarks about his hair.
04:45Randy Savage shoving Repo Man back in the ring now.
04:49Randy Savage coming close, as we said before,
04:52of winning the Royal Rumble,
04:55only to watch the 505-pound Yokozuna
05:00pick the victory.
05:02Ooh!
05:05And again, Randy Savage risking disqualification
05:08in this matchup with Repo Man.
05:09I don't think that would bother Macho Man too much.
05:11No, he doesn't care if he gets his hand raised in victory.
05:14He wants to hurt him.
05:15There's nothing at stake here except Savage's pride.
05:17He lost his little cowboy hat, so he's upset.
05:20So now he's gonna take it out on Repo Man.
05:22It's gonna backfire on him.
05:24Just wait. Just watch.
05:25Get the hook.
05:27Oh, wait a minute.
05:28Look at this.
05:29A reversal there.
05:30Savage rammed down to the steps.
05:32Still to come, McMahon.
05:37You're gonna see that match
05:38between Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect.
05:42Careers are on the line.
05:43WWF is not big enough for both of them,
05:45and I understand Mr. Perfect has just sent out
05:48for new luggage.
05:49He is leaving.
05:50Oh, really?
05:51Oh, really.
05:52I can't believe you would allow Ric Flair
05:53to sign for such a match.
05:54Ooh, no! Look at that!
05:55Randy Savage's shoulder striking the ring post,
05:58and Repo Man back in the ring.
06:00The official could begin this count at any moment.
06:04He doesn't know what number even to start it.
06:06They've made so many counts.
06:07Again, right back out.
06:09Oh, no.
06:10My goodness.
06:11We are really brawling here tonight
06:13on Monday Night Raw.
06:15What an opening match-up.
06:17You know, I didn't let Flair take this match.
06:19He's that kind of a competitor.
06:20He wanted it.
06:21He's the one that made this statement.
06:23He must have confidence in himself just like I do.
06:25What, did you advise him against it?
06:26Well, I told him it's not necessary
06:28to put your career on the line.
06:29Anything can happen, especially on Monday Night Raw.
06:32Right, that's for sure.
06:33Come on, brah!
06:35Balance his tires for him.
06:37Wait a minute.
06:38Whose side are you on?
06:39I take it you don't like Mr. Savage, Mr. Bartlett?
06:42No, I'm rooting for Savage.
06:43Oh, really?
06:44I'm talking about the tires on Repo Man's feet.
06:46Vince, Vince.
06:47What?
06:48Where did they get this guy?
06:49Never mind.
06:50Well, if you really must know,
06:51I mean, he was coming up the subway,
06:52and we just decided to rob it.
06:54Hey.
06:55Okay, never mind.
06:56You said you didn't want anyone to know.
06:57You'll give anybody a handout, won't you?
06:59Hold it.
07:00What's this now?
07:01He's talking to him.
07:02Giving out punishment.
07:04Oh, Repo putting a bad mouth on Randy Savage.
07:07You don't do that to me!
07:09I'm gonna break it!
07:11You know, I pay my chiropractor 80 bucks to do that to me.
07:14Really?
07:15I mean, he gets you down on the mat
07:16and puts his legs around you
07:17and his wrists back on your neck?
07:18Hey, what we do in the privacy of our own home.
07:22In the privacy of your own home?
07:24I'm sorry, I just kind of slipped.
07:25I see.
07:26Now, Bobby Heenan, Repo Man,
07:28was obviously using psychological tactics here, yes?
07:31Oh, you have to.
07:32You have to psych a guy out all the time.
07:33Yeah, well, it didn't do much for Randy Savage, did it?
07:35Well, stick around.
07:36Did it psych him out or what, huh?
07:37Oh, nice tackle there by the Macho Man, Randy Savage.
07:40On a roll.
07:41Coming off the rope.
07:42Stopping.
07:43He breaks.
07:44We'll be right back as we continue.
07:50We're back.
07:51Yeah, shut your mouth, kid.
07:53You talking to me again?
07:54What?
07:55You talking to you?
07:56I hope not.
07:57Randy Savage with a shot to the midsection there.
07:58Uppercut by the Macho Man.
08:00Uppercut by the Macho Man, Randy Savage.
08:03Repo Man's been putting the bad mouth on the Macho Man
08:05all the way through this match-up.
08:06So far, he's spoken more than Bill Clinton did last week
08:10during the inaugural address.
08:11He's made more sense.
08:13Macho Man, Randy Savage,
08:15snapped out now by Repo Man.
08:17What a match-up, a grueling match-up,
08:19which has been thus far.
08:20Oh, my.
08:21I'd say it's been 50-50.
08:22Yeah.
08:23Maybe the Repo Man having the advantage.
08:24I don't know.
08:25There's a cover!
08:27Count of two and a kick-out.
08:28Savage is pretty serious.
08:29As a matter of fact, earlier,
08:30I saw him writing a letter to Jodie Foster.
08:32That's serious.
08:34And Randy Savage turning into Repo Man.
08:36What's he talking about?
08:37What?
08:38What's he talking about?
08:39Ask him.
08:40Pick up a paper every once in a while, will you, Heenan?
08:42He does, but it has leaps on it.
08:44You know, the kind that's...
08:45Well, never mind.
08:46Smart.
08:47Real smart.
08:48How do you like that, huh?
08:50By the way, a little bit later on,
08:51Mean Gene Oakland will bring us up-to-date
08:53on all the happenings that took place
08:55just yesterday afternoon
08:57at the Royal Rumble out in Sacramento, California.
09:00You mean my co-host on All-American.
09:02Beg your pardon?
09:03That's my co-host on All-American,
09:05Mean Gene Oakland.
09:06Yeah, I see.
09:07Has that rather dubious distinction.
09:09Randy Savage back up now with leverage.
09:11Little kick there to the chest area.
09:13I'd say Coachella.
09:14Whoa!
09:15Clothesline by Repo Man.
09:17Wow!
09:18Who is that masked man?
09:23I don't know, Kimisabi.
09:26And Repo Man continues to pour it on the Macho Man,
09:29Randy Savage.
09:30Macho! Macho! Macho!
09:33He is that. He's macho.
09:34Randy Savage is.
09:36What makes you think so?
09:38What really makes you think...
09:39What a great competitor.
09:40Come on.
09:41Former World Wrestling Federation champion
09:43on two different occasions.
09:44Give him your break.
09:47So is Ric Flair.
09:49Well, Ric Flair is about, I believe,
09:51ready to say bye-bye to the World Wrestling Federation
09:53a little bit later on.
09:54Either that or Mr. Perfect
09:56says adios.
09:58Oh!
09:59Dump him.
10:00Yes!
10:01Down to the canvas.
10:02Repo Man.
10:04Maybe running out of gas here.
10:05I don't know.
10:06Here's the cover.
10:07Run!
10:08Hooks the leg again.
10:09He's on top.
10:10He's all right.
10:11He's in pretty good shape yet.
10:12Yeah.
10:13That needle's not on me.
10:15Really wish Repo Man was at the inauguration last week.
10:17Why is that?
10:18Well, we could have stood to have him steal
10:20Hillary Clinton and Tipper Gore's hats.
10:22Hey, I like those hats.
10:23And how about that evening gown she had on,
10:25huh, Hillary?
10:26Yeah.
10:27What a looker.
10:29Wow.
10:30Really.
10:31Rush Limbaugh liked it, I understand.
10:33But you didn't like it?
10:35I thought she looked lovely, actually.
10:38My friends, mega-diddles to you
10:40live from the WWF Monday Night Raw.
10:44I know that voice.
10:45Yeah.
10:46That Paul Harvey, isn't it?
10:48No, it's Ronald McDonald.
10:50Oh!
10:51In goes Repo and the RGP back.
10:53Oh, my goodness.
10:55Macho Man Randy Savage turning a title.
10:57Look at this match.
10:58You see that Repo, he's just got it in him.
11:00He's a competitor.
11:01He's got that street smarts.
11:03He goes out at night.
11:04That's when he likes to work.
11:05That's when he does his best work.
11:06Yeah.
11:07And he's taking it right to the Macho Man.
11:09Yeah, macho what?
11:11He's yelling at you, McMahon.
11:12He doesn't like you.
11:15You better concentrate on the Macho Man Randy Savage.
11:18The hat somewhat symbolic about what this match is all about.
11:21Oh!
11:22Yes!
11:23Way up high from the clothesline.
11:25Randy Savage scooping up Repo.
11:27Slams him down to the canvas.
11:28Randy Savage now going to the outside.
11:31Savage going up.
11:33The official trying to get in the way,
11:35but Randy Savage is on the top rope.
11:38And what's going to happen with Randy?
11:41Yes!
11:42I thought the Repo got out of the way.
11:44That's it!
11:45Yes!
11:46He got it.
11:47Savage from the blue line.
11:50What a lucky victory.
11:52A what?
11:53I said, what a lucky victory.
11:55Are you deaf?
11:56Macho Man Randy Savage victorious on Monday Night Raw.
12:03And Repo in, hurled to the outside one more time for good measure.
12:09He's going to drop on him from the top rope.
12:12No, they're not going to let him do it.
12:15I'll tell you what they are going to let him do.
12:17Macho Man Randy Savage will be joining a whole host of other
12:21WWF superstars on their way back here to New York City,
12:26but a different venue.
12:28This Friday at Madison Square Garden will be the kickoff
12:33for the World Wrestling Federation's Headlock on Hunger.
12:37And Randy Savage, one of the superstars, leading the way.
12:42What a competitor.
12:43Randy Savage, the Macho Man.
12:46What an ovation.
12:48What a showoff.
12:50That's okay.
12:51He has his hat back.
12:55Here's a kiss for you too, sweetheart.
12:57Hey, give me a honk later on.
12:58I'm at the area code.
12:59A honk?
13:00Are we on?
13:01It's coming.
13:02It's coming Sunday afternoon, April 4.
13:05It's coming to the palace.
13:07WrestleMania is coming to Caesar's Palace,
13:11the most opulent, splendiferous hotel and casino in existence,
13:15proudly presents the most spectacular pay-per-view event of all time,
13:20WrestleMania.
13:21Las Vegas has become the new family entertainment capital of the world,
13:26and your family will experience excitement, fun, and action
13:30as never before as WrestleMania comes to the crown jewel of Las Vegas,
13:35Caesar's Palace.
13:37Relive the legend at the home of champions on Sunday afternoon, April 4.
13:43It's WrestleMania.
13:47We're back with more Monday Night Raw.
13:49We are anxiously awaiting.
13:51Uh-oh, here we go.
13:52The drums are beating.
13:56Take a look at this.
13:58It's Nell Carter.
14:00No, it's not.
14:03Uh-oh, he's ringing the dinner bell.
14:06The Ugandan giant, the mighty Kamala,
14:10assisted by Reverend Slick,
14:13the pastor of the Mount Ephraim Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas,
14:17has become the advisor of Kamala.
14:19Look at this, Brawler going right to work on him.
14:21Brawler setting up Kamala, tries to yank him out.
14:24No, he's not going anywhere.
14:26A chop by Kamala, another one.
14:28Kamala now with a Brawler, whips him to the corner.
14:30Here he comes.
14:31Oh, my.
14:32Brawler.
14:33Scooping up.
14:34No, no, he can't get Kamala up.
14:36However, Kamala reverses.
14:38Oh, rather handily.
14:40I'll tell you, I'm very surprised,
14:41because Kamala lost his instinct to fight.
14:44After he was put in the coffin at Survivor Series by The Undertaker,
14:48I figured he was finished.
14:49It seemed like Harvey Whippleman and Kim Chi were getting him back.
14:53They deserted him, that's what you mean.
14:55He bit the hand that fed himself.
14:57And listen to this.
14:59You are a man.
15:01Exactly the advice, Reverend Slick, in Kamala.
15:04And you can bet Brawler is believing in Kamala.
15:07He is definitely a man.
15:08Kamala must be with the clothesline.
15:09Brawler hangs on to the rope.
15:12Oh, nice kick by Kamala.
15:14Harvey Whippleman very, very busy these days.
15:17Yeah, I'm very surprised.
15:18I thought without Kim Chi and without Harvey Whippleman,
15:21this man would be some kind of a loss.
15:23You know, just lost out of the jungle.
15:25He didn't have his trainer, didn't have his manager.
15:27But I don't know what Slick has done for him,
15:29but he seems very, very-
15:30It's really not so much Slick, Bobby.
15:32It's the crowd.
15:34Kamala is listening to the people around ringside.
15:37He's opening his heart to them.
15:39He feels what they feel.
15:42And they're chanting, you are a man.
15:44I have definitely impressed the Ugandan giant, the mighty Kamala.
15:48I think he made a big mistake.
15:50He is a man.
15:51He made a very big mistake.
15:53He is a man and he needs a Thighmaster.
15:57You mean Suzanne Summers?
15:59What a combination that would be.
16:00Kamala, the Ugandan giant, dating Suzanne Summers.
16:04That'll make a front page of the New York Post.
16:06My girl.
16:08Kamala.
16:09Three's company.
16:11There you go.
16:12Kamala's three by himself.
16:14Kicked in a chest area.
16:16Kamala really pouring it on the brawler here.
16:18Nice of the brawler to dress up for tonight's match.
16:21Hey, he's from Brooklyn.
16:23That's the way he likes to operate.
16:24That's the way he goes down the alley.
16:25That's the way the man fights.
16:27How about that Harvey Wibbleman bringing to the ringside area
16:32during the Royal Rumble that giant Gonzalez,
16:36almost eight feet tall.
16:38No, McMahon.
16:39He was close to 20 feet 10.
16:41Yeah.
16:42He's bigger than the Golden Gate Bridge.
16:44And I never saw The Undertaker manhandled like that.
16:46And look at this.
16:48The crowd really getting behind the Ugandan giant.
16:52He doesn't know what quite to-
16:54Safe!
16:55Safe!
16:56He's what?
16:57Safe.
16:58Reminded me of Pete Rose sliding in.
17:00George Steinbrenner would be proud of that maneuver.
17:03George Steinbrenner would be proud of any way that could play ball.
17:07Ugandan giant in control.
17:09He does not know what to make of his newfound popularity.
17:12He's not all that comfortable with it yet.
17:14Can you imagine if these people ever get behind him
17:17and he embraces the people, how dangerous this man can be?
17:20He don't know how strong he is.
17:22I'm 20 minutes away from being Sally Field.
17:24They like me.
17:25They really like me.
17:27The Ugandan giant down with the brawler.
17:31And rolls him over.
17:33And rolls him over again.
17:35And rolls him over again.
17:37He's making a burrito out of him.
17:39Is that the first guy that got rolled here in New York?
17:42The Ugandan giant.
17:45Having some rolls.
17:47Rolls the brawler back in.
17:49No.
17:51Very good.
17:52Very good.
17:53Ripple Roman move.
17:54What?
17:55He hooked the sole of his foot and just pulled it up.
17:57Great move.
17:59Well, Kamala and this capacity crowd bonding together as one.
18:04Perhaps I can get an interview with Reverend Slick and the Ugandan giant.
18:09Hey.
18:10Hey.
18:11Where's he going?
18:12He's going to talk to Kamala.
18:14He can't leave us here alone.
18:15Why not?
18:16He can't leave me here with you.
18:17Why?
18:18What are you afraid of?
18:19I'm not afraid of anything.
18:20Hello, are we on?
18:21Sit down.
18:22I've got to talk to the director on this.
18:23I can't be out here with you.
18:24Sit down.
18:25Between you and I, I'm the host of this show.
18:26You've got to kick back to me.
18:27Oh, you're the host?
18:28Yes, I am.
18:2988%.
18:30Whatever you make, you kick back to me.
18:31That's the rules here.
18:32Who are you, Colonel Parker?
18:33Colonel Parker?
18:34You mean the guy that makes these round serve rolls?
18:36No.
18:37I'm not Colonel Parker.
18:38Let's hear what he has to say.
18:39Keep your mouth shut.
18:40I must say that this is extraordinary.
18:42What you have done for Kamala, Reverend Slick, is outstanding.
18:46Well, Vince McMahon, I appreciate the compliment.
18:49But I cannot take full credit for Kamala Ugandan Giant.
18:54The credit goes to all these wonderful people.
18:57You are responsible for the conversion of the Ugandan Giant.
19:04You opened up your heart to him.
19:06And in return, he's opening up his heart to you.
19:12But you know Harvey Wimperman, Kim Chi, you better stay out of the way of the Ugandan Giant.
19:18Because I'm not going to be responsible for what might happen if he gets one look at you.
19:24Thank you very much, Reverend Slick, along with the Ugandan Giant, the mighty Kamala.
19:29Is McMahon coming back or not?
19:31I hope so.
19:32We don't need him.
19:33We don't really need him.
19:34He answers those guys' fluff questions.
19:36Keeps the interviews simple.
19:37I go hardcore.
19:38I get to the meat of everything.
19:40Kamala, is it true you're going to be the campaign manager for Mayor Dinkins' re-election?
19:44That's what I'd ask.
19:45Yeah, you're a real Dan Rather.
19:47Rather what?
19:48I'd rather not be here with you.
19:50I'd rather not be here with you.
19:52Yeah, you do.
20:03All right, folks, right here on WWF Monday Night Raw,
20:06here we go with your post-Royal Rumble report.
20:09Brought to you by our good friends at Coliseum Home Video,
20:13the exclusive distributors of the Survivor Series,
20:17and yesterday's gigantic Royal Rumble,
20:20available at video stores everywhere February the 11th.
20:24All right, ladies and gentlemen, in case you missed the Royal Rumble yesterday,
20:28I've got to tell you, you missed a lot.
20:30We've come to expect the unexpected from World Wrestling Federation pay-per-view events,
20:36and it happened again yesterday in California's capital city of Sacramento.
20:41Number one, a successful title defense for the World Wrestling Federation champion,
20:46Bret the Hitman Hart.
20:47Then more big news, and I mean really big.
20:51The winner of the 30-man Royal Rumble, 500-pound-plus Japanese superstar,
20:56Yokozuna.
20:58This tentatively sets up a big main event for WrestleMania IX
21:02on April the 4th of 1993 at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada,
21:07providing Bret the Hitman Hart retains the World Wrestling Federation title.
21:12It'll be him going against challenger Yokozuna.
21:16Well, Bobby the Brain Heenan did it again at the Royal Rumble.
21:20Finally, unveiling Narcissus.
21:22We had waited for a long time to see just exactly who this individual was,
21:27Lex Luger.
21:29I am not a big Lex Luger fan, but ladies and gentlemen, I've got to tell you,
21:33this man looked like the bronze Adonis.
21:36Obviously in fabulous shape, and he's got some goals, some ambitions,
21:40some objectives here on the World Wrestling Federation.
21:44More big news.
21:45I mean gigantic news in the form of Giant Gonzalez.
21:49All of a sudden, during the course of action in the Royal Rumble,
21:52Gonzalez brutally attacking The Undertaker.
21:55I have never seen The Undertaker manhandle like this.
21:59I didn't think anybody could do to The Undertaker what Gonzalez did.
22:04And I guarantee you, we have not heard the end of that particular story.
22:09I'm sure in the weeks and months to come,
22:12there's going to be more to be told about what transpired yesterday
22:15at the Royal Rumble.
22:16And of course, you can get all of the latest breaking developments
22:19right here this coming weekend
22:21on the World Wrestling Federation television network.
22:26Hey, Toots, come over here.
22:28I gave you my number.
22:29I didn't tell you what room I'm in.
22:30By the way, do you have a girlfriend, something for Byron,
22:32maybe with an overbite and maybe a big hump on her butt?
22:35I don't know.
22:36We're back.
22:37Promotional consideration paid for by the following.
22:40To be the World Wrestling Federation champion,
22:43you've got to want it every day.
22:44It takes an integrated approach to training,
22:46and that is what ICO Pro is all about.
22:50Chips!
22:52Gotta have beef, gotta have spice.
22:55Need a little excitement?
22:56Snap into a Slim Jim.
22:58Oh, yeah.
23:00We're back with more Monday Night Raw.
23:02This is the match we've all been awaiting.
23:04I can't believe Ric Flair last week challenged Mr. Perfect
23:08and put his career on the line.
23:10I gotta go to ringside.
23:11I gotta see Flair.
23:12Yeah, I guess you do.
23:13Bobby Heenan headed up to ringside.
23:16He didn't have a little thing going to the side, did he, Vince?
23:19Well, I'll tell you what.
23:21It has been a relationship that took Ric Flair
23:23to the World Wrestling Federation championship,
23:26and Flair puts it all on the line,
23:28and so does Mr. Perfect here tonight on Monday Night Raw
23:33right here on the USA Network.
23:37And you can see by the look of concern,
23:40Ric Flair is in the ring.
23:43And you can see by the look of concern on Bobby Heenan's face,
23:47this matchup means everything to Ric Flair and to Mr. Perfect.
23:52Bobby Heenan joining us again.
23:53Am I on?
23:54Are you on?
23:55You better hope Ric Flair is on tonight.
23:57He's always on.
23:59Oh, here, look at this.
24:04Look at the look of confidence on the face of Mr. Perfect.
24:09You know, I advise Flair not to take this match.
24:11You did not.
24:12Yes, I did.
24:13Anything can happen on Monday Night Raw.
24:15That official can do something to backstab us.
24:17A Jack Tiny can do something.
24:19I don't like this.
24:20I have a financial investment in that man,
24:22but you couldn't talk to him.
24:23He was so upset at Mr. Perfect, he risked his career.
24:27If he's going to put his career on the line,
24:29he must know something.
24:30It's bye-bye, Mr. Perfect.
24:32Oh, wait a minute.
24:33The same is true of Mr. Perfect.
24:34I think this is not a wise decision for either competitor.
24:37No, it's not.
24:38Two of the greatest ever in the World Wrestling Federation,
24:41and Mr. Perfect putting his career on the line.
24:45Two-time WWF Champion Ric Flair,
24:47two-time Intercontinental Champion Mr. Perfect,
24:50and they do not like each other.
24:52And that's Perfect's fault.
24:53Thanks to you, they don't like each other.
24:54It's Perfect's fault.
24:55Yeah, sure.
24:57If you could hear a little commentary in the background,
24:59we think we're picking up another radio station or headset.
25:02We're not exactly too sure here,
25:03having some technical difficulties.
25:05Oh, my.
25:07Hopefully, you're still with us, perhaps.
25:09I know what it is.
25:10We're picking up a sci-fi channel on USA.
25:12That's what it is.
25:14Ask for it.
25:16A sci-fi channel.
25:21We're going to look at a termination
25:22on the face of Mr. Perfect.
25:23Yeah, if he'd have kept his mouth shut,
25:24he'd still have a good job.
25:26If he just did what Flair told him
25:27or what I told him, kept his mouth shut,
25:29he'd be all right.
25:30Hey, look, Mr. Perfect walks in no man's shadow.
25:32I can tell you that.
25:33He is his own man, for sure.
25:35Yeah.
25:36One of the greatest WWF competitors of all time.
25:39Shoulder block, down he goes.
25:40Flair off the rope again.
25:41A little momentum, man.
25:42Oh, nice drop toe hold, and look at this.
25:45Oh, my.
25:47What a slap in the face.
25:49Shades of the Ali shuffle.
25:51Float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.
25:54What about it, Bobby Heenan?
25:56What?
25:57Yeah, exactly right.
25:58I can't be bothered listening to you.
26:00I've got to watch what's going on.
26:01Look at the kisser of Heenan, huh?
26:02What?
26:03He looks like he's going to have a stroke.
26:05I got a lot invested here, you know.
26:07We did very well in 92.
26:10Rick, come on over here.
26:11I got an idea.
26:12Hold this headset.
26:13Bobby Heenan going off headset again.
26:16A little consultation going.
26:17What's he doing?
26:18Bobby Heenan has a hammer.
26:19Heenan.
26:20Trying to hand him a hammer, I think.
26:25And Bobby Heenan joining us again.
26:27Ric Flair going back up and into the ring,
26:30taking his sweet time about it.
26:31Why don't you just give him a hammer twister
26:33while you're at it?
26:34What?
26:35What were you trying to do?
26:36Who, me?
26:37Do what?
26:38We saw what you're trying to do.
26:39I do nothing.
26:40Slips some sort of foreign object into the hands of Ric Flair.
26:43Oh, the hammer.
26:44The hammer.
26:45I got that away from the timekeeper.
26:46Nice maneuver by Flair.
26:47Beautiful maneuver.
26:48Riding time in.
26:49Oh, nice reversal.
26:50Yes, indeed.
26:51Into the hammer lock.
26:55And Mr. Perfect jamming that forearm up as high
26:58as he can get on the shoulder as Flair
27:00tries to connect with a series of elbows there
27:03that miss the mark just slightly.
27:05Back's perfect to the corner.
27:06Oh, wow.
27:07Right in the head.
27:09And a chop by Flair.
27:11Flair setting up.
27:12Perfect got another one.
27:14Now, look at this.
27:15Perfect spin.
27:16Oh, wow.
27:17Ric and again.
27:20They are chopping each other.
27:22They are hacking away here on Monday Night Raw.
27:26What was that?
27:27Boy, that's your favorite.
27:28You just love to see Flair knocked around, don't you, McMahon?
27:30A little delayed reaction.
27:32Nonetheless, the effect of those chops quite obvious
27:36as we see Mr. Flair now over in the corner begging off of it.
27:39Sure, you can hit that hard on your chest.
27:41It stops your clock.
27:42I guess so.
27:43Stop a truck.
27:45Flair and Perfect now.
27:48I believe both men are still a little too tentative,
27:51a little too cautious.
27:52Well, that's what I'm scared about, too.
27:54I don't want Flair to make a mistake.
27:56I don't want his temper to just snap.
27:57That's what's happening.
27:58Both men are a little too defensive here, I think,
28:00with what's at stake.
28:01I think they're going to have to let it all go.
28:03No, no.
28:04If you let it all go, that's where you're going to make a mistake.
28:06Flair wants Perfect to make a mistake.
28:08Perfect wants Flair to make a mistake.
28:10That's a competitive individual there.
28:12If you just went out there and just like you would do, McMahon,
28:14just go nuts, snap.
28:16I think a degree of reckless abandon is necessary
28:19for someone to be victorious in this matchup.
28:24He'd probably like to listen to music loud, too,
28:26and go fast down the highway and go on roller coasters and everything.
28:29Motorcycles and skateboards and bungee jumping.
28:35Ric Flair, with a bit of momentum,
28:37has Mr. Perfect in the corner and starts attacking away.
28:41He starts chopping away again.
28:43Come on, ref.
28:44That was a clenched fist.
28:45So what?
28:46What do you mean, so what?
28:47That's what I said, so what?
28:48Perfect could do it.
28:49And he just might.
28:50Oh!
28:51Oh, what?
28:52Another one.
28:53And a nice left hand out of nowhere.
28:56Mr. Perfect all over Ric Flair.
28:58Dropping him like a bad habit.
29:00And Flair back to the corner.
29:02Good move.
29:03Regroup.
29:04Regroup.
29:05Why don't you just run back to the locker room?
29:07What about the officiating thus far, Bobby?
29:09Ain't it pretty much going your way or what?
29:12No, it's not going my way.
29:13It's lousy officiating.
29:15He's letting Perfect get away more than he's letting Flair get away.
29:18Perfect's throwing punches.
29:19He should be disqualified.
29:20Oh, come on.
29:21The referee with a match of this magnitude likely to bend.
29:24Don't do that.
29:25You'll put somebody's eye out.
29:27Oh, Flair now really taking advantage of a little lax nature.
29:32The official.
29:33Look what's going on now.
29:34Here we go.
29:35Oh, no.
29:36Oh, yeah.
29:37Oh, yeah.
29:38Ric Flair with that steel chair.
29:39Waffle him.
29:40Waffle him.
29:41No, thank goodness.
29:42The official leaped and grabbed the chair.
29:43We'll be back as we continue with our Monday Night Raw.
29:45Don't touch him.
29:46Don't touch him, Ric.
29:49We're back with our Monday Night Raw.
29:51Mr. Perfect and Ric Flair going at it.
29:53Both men have put their career here in the World Wrestling Federation on the line.
29:58What a matchup.
30:00You realize what Flair has accomplished since he entered the World Wrestling
30:03Federation in such a short time?
30:05Do you realize what?
30:06Oh, look at that.
30:07Mr. Perfect, no.
30:08All the way to the outside.
30:10What a break for Flair.
30:12Break for Flair.
30:13Now, that's fair to Flair.
30:14That's fair for Flair right there.
30:16Mr. Perfect may not get up.
30:18He hit his head on that ring post when he came flying out.
30:21He's hurt.
30:22Yeah, he is hurt.
30:23He's hurt.
30:24That's the way I like it.
30:25Oh, no.
30:26And back down.
30:27And if he's counted out, it's history.
30:28His career is over.
30:29One, two, three.
30:30His career.
30:31Stop what the official's doing.
30:32They're counting.
30:33He's outside.
30:34And if for any reason the official stops this matchup,
30:38then it's curtains for one of these two as far as the World Wrestling
30:42Federation is concerned.
30:45Look at this now.
30:46Flair attacking the open wound on the forehead of Mr. Perfect.
30:51Well, he smacked his head good on that ring post.
30:53And Flair really going to work.
30:55The official may stop it.
30:57Perfect now to the buckle.
30:59Oh, my.
31:00Look what an impact.
31:02Woo!
31:04Is there going to be a party tonight in the Apple?
31:07Ric Flair down for the count.
31:09No, trying to get him down.
31:10Chin locking.
31:11Oh, and his foot is right there in the rope.
31:13Come on, ref.
31:14Come on, ref.
31:15Your job is to call the action.
31:17Ref, can you hear me?
31:18Don't try to interfere in this kind of a match.
31:20Now, wait a minute.
31:21Careers are on the line.
31:22Wait a minute.
31:23Look at the shin of Flair.
31:27That's OK.
31:28It is not OK.
31:29You can do that until you get caught.
31:30You cannot.
31:31Don't you know the rules?
31:32It's like life.
31:33You can do anything until you get caught.
31:35Mr. Perfect and Ric Flair laying their career in the WWF on the line.
31:40And right now, it looks like Mr. Perfect's going to say goodbye.
31:44But nonetheless, a right hand there had nothing behind it from Perfect.
31:47I'll be right back.
31:48Another shot.
31:49I'll be right back.
31:50What do you mean?
31:51I'll be right back.
31:52I'm going to call Mr. Perfect a cab.
31:53You just stay right here.
31:54Look at this.
31:55Perfect standing there, taking almost everything Ric Flair has to give him.
31:59Reversal by Perfect.
32:00Flair coming out.
32:01Oh.
32:02Yes.
32:03Now, that would add something behind it.
32:05Come on, Ric.
32:06Come on.
32:07Get him.
32:08No.
32:09Just to three.
32:10Got him.
32:11No, he didn't get him.
32:12Almost a count of three.
32:13That was a fast count, too.
32:16What a matchup.
32:18And Flair going downstairs, bending over Mr. Perfect.
32:22Come on, Ric.
32:23Come on.
32:25Flair trying to set up Perfect now.
32:27Whips him to the rope, coming off hip lock.
32:29No.
32:30Wait a minute.
32:31Trying to get him over.
32:32No, no, no.
32:33Trying to get him over.
32:34Drop to your knees, Ric.
32:35Drop to your knees.
32:36He can't take you over.
32:37Mr. Perfect trying to get him down.
32:38Drop to your knees.
32:39He can't take you over.
32:40Don't you hear me?
32:41Perfect.
32:42Here we go.
32:43His momentum now.
32:44No.
32:45Yes.
32:46Come on.
32:47Come on.
32:48Come on.
32:49Perfect trying to get him down.
32:50His shoulder slide.
32:51No, no.
32:52Time's up.
32:53So close.
32:54Very, very close.
32:55And Flair recovering before Perfect trying to set him up.
32:58No.
32:59Reversal to the buckle.
33:00Nice.
33:01Put him rope out and over.
33:02Yes.
33:03Come on, Ric.
33:04Just when you think there's nothing left for Mr. Perfect,
33:06he comes right back at you.
33:07I don't know.
33:08And Flair begging out.
33:10This capacity crowd really enjoying the action on Monday Night Raw.
33:15Come on, Ric.
33:16Get out of the ring.
33:17Get out of the ring.
33:18Make him come after you.
33:19Make him make a mistake.
33:20And a right hand land.
33:22The referee's giving up.
33:23He's not even trying to control this.
33:25Again, the official considering the magnitude of this event,
33:29allowing a lot of latitude as far as bending the rules is concerned.
33:33Look at that.
33:34No.
33:35Perfect is hammering.
33:36Yes.
33:37He is hammering.
33:38That's a club fist.
33:39That's a club fist.
33:40If Flair was doing that, he'd be disqualified.
33:42Do something.
33:44Uh-oh.
33:45And he did.
33:46He didn't get him.
33:47He didn't get him as good as he could have.
33:49Come on, Ric.
33:50Follow it up.
33:51Nail him from behind.
33:52Blindside him.
33:53And a rope.
33:54One, two, three.
33:56No.
33:57Oh, wow.
33:59Mr. Perfect and Ric Flair, both men giving it their all here on Monday Night Raw.
34:05Come on, Ric.
34:06You know what you're doing.
34:07Let him make a mistake.
34:08Look at this now.
34:09Wait a minute.
34:10Flair to the outside.
34:11Wants to collect himself.
34:12That's not a good sign if you're Ric Flair.
34:14But you don't know what he's doing.
34:15He may be suckering Mr. Perfect in.
34:17I doubt that.
34:18You're not dealing with the average wrestler here, you know, McMahon.
34:20No question about that.
34:22Oh, my goodness.
34:23Oh, my God.
34:24Yes.
34:25Perfect now with authority cinches up Flair.
34:27Flair comes in the hard way.
34:31And for the cover.
34:32This one's over.
34:33Yes.
34:34No, it's not.
34:35I can't believe it.
34:36He got his shoulder up before three.
34:37Come on.
34:38Come on.
34:39Come on.
34:40Come on.
34:41Stop him.
34:42Stop him now.
34:43Ric Flair.
34:44There we go.
34:45With a kick to the midsection.
34:46He knows what he's doing.
34:47He's suckering him in.
34:48Yes, he did.
34:49He did on that occasion, no doubt.
34:50Off the rope now.
34:51And a sleeper hold.
34:52Ric Flair with a sleeper hold on Mr. Perfect.
34:53Put him to sleep any way you can.
34:54Trying to put his career to sleep.
34:55Trying to put him out in the WWF.
34:56He's down to one knee, McMahon.
34:57He's down to one knee.
34:59He's shutting down.
35:00Ring that bell and it's over.
35:01Yes.
35:02Mr. Perfect is history.
35:03The official right there to make sure this move over does not turn into a choke hold.
35:18He's not going to get up.
35:22He's not going to get up.
35:25He's hardly moving.
35:26He's on his butt, his feet are flat out, he can't get up.
35:29The official raises a hand once.
35:31Once, there we go, twice, yes, yes, yes.
35:34One more time with that hand that Ric Flair has, it's gonna be an end.
35:38Bye bye, Mr. Perfect.
35:40No, no, he's still with it.
35:42Somehow he's still with it.
35:45That's a lousy rule, it should be twice to raise a man's hand.
35:48Look at this, Mr. Perfect making a move on Ric Flair back to his feet.
35:53Come on, come on, Ric.
35:54And to the buckle, nice maneuver on Perfect's part.
35:57A desperation attempt that paid off for Mr. Perfect.
36:02I think as wet as their bodies are, they can't hold on to each other.
36:06How much time has gone now?
36:07I don't know, is there a time limit on this?
36:08I don't know.
36:09Well, you're supposed to be enough.
36:10It would be unfortunate if we have to go off the air while this match continues.
36:15Wait a minute, look at this.
36:17Two and three.
36:19No.
36:19So if we go off the air, and there's not a conclusion to this match,
36:23then it's a draw, they both stay.
36:25Unfortunately, if we go off the air, there's no conclusion.
36:28We'd have to give you the conclusion next week.
36:30But I believe right now, Mr. Perfect is going to beat Ric Flair.
36:35I sense a momentum on the part of Mr. Perfect.
36:38He doesn't have it hooked, though.
36:44He's out of gas.
36:45I don't think Perfect is out of anything, Bobby Hayden.
36:49Flair back to his feet now, making his counter move.
37:00And Perfect up in the air.
37:02Perfect for the suplex.
37:04Nice counter move on the part of Flair.
37:06There's a pro.
37:07There's a man that knows where he's at in that ring.
37:09Yeah, he's flat on his back, that's what he's at.
37:11No, I don't mean he's flat on his back.
37:13I mean, he got out of it.
37:14He got out of that hole.
37:16Why? Because he's Ric Flair.
37:18Two veterans going at it here,
37:20putting their respective careers on the line on Monday Night Raw.
37:24And Flair yanking Perfect up.
37:26Wait a minute, he's going for the figure four.
37:28Time for school.
37:29Time for the school.
37:30He's got it in.
37:32Flair searches the figure four in.
37:34Ring the bell.
37:36Come on, stupid, ring that bell.
37:38Flair has hold of the rope.
37:39That's okay.
37:40It's not okay.
37:40The ref don't see it, it's okay.
37:42Flair hanging on to the rope, gaining even yet more leverage.
37:46He's not holding it to the rope, you liar.
37:48Not right now, he's not, but he was earlier.
37:49You saw it as well as I did.
37:52And again, Flair reaching for the rope.
37:55It doesn't matter if I see it or you see it.
37:57It's at the ref sees it.
38:00Turn around, ref, if he grabs that rope again.
38:04And it's Perfect to, and whoa.
38:07Perfect has to spin out of this somehow.
38:09He has to reverse this pressure.
38:11I doubt a referee got him.
38:12The referee caught Flair hanging on to the rope.
38:15You know, the average man, I give perfect credit for this,
38:17would have given up for the time he was in that figure four.
38:20He'll give up, he'll get beat.
38:22Don't worry.
38:23I'm not worried.
38:24Don't you worry.
38:25Perfect is, would you relax, please?
38:27Who? You.
38:28Relax, you're getting everyone upset.
38:31Mr. Perfect with a bad wheel now.
38:33And even worse.
38:34He knows what he's doing, yeah.
38:36He's building the foundation to finish off the big house.
38:40Yes, get him.
38:42Ric Flair now with Mr. Perfect snaps him over in the middle of the ring.
38:47And thus far, the good news is that the cup on Perfect's forehead has not opened up.
38:53No, no, no.
38:54Yes, Perfect, look at this, catches Flair in the corner.
38:59Back off, back off.
39:00And Flair, my, Mr. Perfect will be hanged.
39:05Stay with us.
39:07Hold this.
39:09We're back with Armando Del Rio.
39:11Get out, get out.
39:12These two men, I can't believe they're still going at it.
39:16Come on, get up.
39:17And we better have a conclusion here real soon.
39:20We only have about nine minutes before we have to leave you.
39:24Wait a minute, wait, what's he doing?
39:25Wait a minute, what's, Ric Flair going down in his knee pad.
39:28Yeah, he put like, he put some knuckles.
39:31No, no, no, don't, don't beat him this way.
39:34No, don't cover him.
39:35Beat him any way you can.
39:37Don't take his career from him like that.
39:38Beat him, beat him.
39:39No.
39:40What a way to go down the toilet.
39:41Well. I missed it, Perfect.
39:43If you suck, you're stepping up in with us.
39:46He's not down.
39:47Perfect hasn't moved.
39:48He's knocked down.
39:49It is over.
39:51Flair drops the elbow for good measure.
39:55Oh no, for you.
39:56Yes, yes.
39:57Two.
39:57Wait, the foot, the foot, the foot, the foot.
39:59No, no.
39:59The foot, the foot.
40:01Shot that foot right down his mouth.
40:03I like what I see.
40:04One, two, he gets him in three.
40:06No, he doesn't.
40:07Oh, wow.
40:09Bobby Heenan, big kisser.
40:11Yes, yes.
40:13Big smile on his face.
40:14He likes what he sees.
40:15One, two, one, three.
40:18Come on, Flair attacking.
40:20He wants to stop the match by opening that wound.
40:23Doesn't matter.
40:24This man will stoop to any depths to win this match.
40:28That is exactly right.
40:31Rob Bartlett, you haven't said a word.
40:32What's going on?
40:33I'm speechless, Vince.
40:34I've never seen anything like this in my entire life.
40:37These two guys are beating the beejeepers out of each other.
40:41And another chop.
40:42Wait a minute.
40:42Hit him?
40:43Wait a minute.
40:43Look at what's going on.
40:44Look.
40:45No, no, no.
40:46Look at Perfect.
40:47He's turned into a punching bag.
40:49But what resolve by Mr. Perfect.
40:52He's out on his feet.
40:53Flair's chops don't even mean anything.
40:55He's out on his feet, ringing the bell.
40:57And look at this.
40:58Yes, yes.
41:00Talk about momentum.
41:02Now, Perfect moving in on Flair, who's backing off.
41:06Mr. Perfect with Flair.
41:09Right chop.
41:10And all of a sudden, what resilience by Perfect Flair for the ride.
41:15Come on, up out of it and down.
41:17Come on, Rick.
41:19And a close down.
41:20Nailed him.
41:21What a right hand.
41:23What a right hand.
41:25And Ric Flair now is the one on the canvas.
41:30What action in this matchup.
41:31All right, look at that.
41:33That's unbelievable.
41:35Look at that.
41:36It's always there.
41:37My God, no.
41:39One, it's over in three, yes.
41:41No.
41:43I thought he had him for sure.
41:45I thought Perfect had Flair for sure.
41:49What excitement in this matchup.
41:51This is the kind of athleticism you'd expect in the World Wrestling Federation.
41:56I'm at two and three.
41:57He's fighting at the foot.
41:58Come on.
41:59Look at the foot, Raph.
42:00Come on.
42:01I'm gonna have a nice laugh tomorrow.
42:04Look at that.
42:06And the official.
42:07He can't do it.
42:07Wait a minute.
42:09Yes, yes, yes, yes.
42:11A kick out by Flair.
42:12They are literally, McMahon, fighting for their lives.
42:14Pull up the rope.
42:16Put the brakes.
42:18Perfect Black Swan Tone.
42:20Yes, he's got this.
42:21No, no.
42:22He's got this.
42:23My God, no.
42:26No, no.
42:27He is the winner.
42:27Mr. Perfect Victorious, Bobby Heaton has thrown Ric Flair's career away.
42:33It's your fault, Bobby Heaton.
42:34Get out of my way.
42:35Bobby Heaton received by The Plexi.
42:44Look at this.
42:44He can't believe what has happened.
42:47He can't believe that Ric Flair is no longer in the WWF.
42:56Mr. Perfect Victorious has perhaps his greatest victory to date.
43:02That was an amazing match, Vince.
43:05Bobby Heaton will never forgive himself for
43:09allowing Flair to issue the challenge and
43:12accept both men, Perfect and Flair, putting their careers on the line.
43:18But nonetheless, it's Mr. Perfect now,
43:21who has chased Ric Flair out of the World Wrestling Federation.
43:27One action on Monday Night Raw, one action on USA.
43:31Yeah, perfect.
43:35It's Saturday morning.
43:38You just can't seem to get out of bed.

44:07Wait till you hear of the matchup we have for you next week.
44:13We've just been told that Ric Flair must honor his obligations through this weekend.
44:18This coming from WWF President Jack Tunney.
44:21But nonetheless, after that, it's all downhill for Ric Flair.
44:25Next week, Typhoon, near 400 pounds, squares off against Doink the Clown.
44:31What a creep he is.
44:33Typhoon?
44:34No, Doink the Clown.
44:35Or Bobby Heenan.
44:36There are a lot of them around here on Monday Night Raw.
44:38Join us next week.
