00:00The delays are affecting the T1 North Shore line and the T9 Northern line due to urgent
00:08track repairs and trains are not running on schedule as a result.
00:13Both of those trade lines are experiencing delays and they are still operating though
00:18between Wynyard and Hornsby and between Hornsby and Boroughra.
00:22Transport for New South Wales says that they're trying to do the repairs on the tracks as
00:26fast as they can but they are advising communities to seek alternate transport if possible including
00:32the bus if they can.
00:33Although speaking to some communities here at Central Station here in the centre of Sydney
00:39for those communities that aren't heading to work it's not that big of a deal but for
00:43those trying to head to work it is a Monday it's not the best start to the week.
00:46Here's what a few of them had to say.
00:48The worst ever.
00:50What line were you experiencing?
00:52The Western Sydney line.
00:54How long was it delayed?
00:55What happened?
00:56Delayed like two and a half hours.
00:59Yeah, worst ever.
01:01It feels like ever since they did all that rail blitz recently that nothing's actually
01:04improved and it's actually been more of a mess every single week.
01:08It's kind of really frustrating.
01:09Passengers should also expect delays on the T2 Inner West and Leppington, T3 Bankstown
01:16and T8 Airport and South line.
01:19Transport for New South Wales have been giving updates on the PA and via signage in the station
01:24and are asking for commuters for their patience and apologise for any delays.
