00:00What was the most surprising game for you today?
00:05Because there's about three that stood out to me.
00:08But which one really was like, wow, football's back.
00:11It's Sunday.
00:12Well, the Colts-Texans game, I was super high on coming into.
00:18We spoke about it briefly on Thursday, Friday.
00:21Awesome stuff in that game.
00:23Titans-Bears was a complete mess.
00:26Titans were up 17-0.
00:27They didn't end up covering 4.5 points.
00:31And they held a Bears offense to not score an offensive
00:36touchdown and held them to, what was it,
00:38less than 200 yards on offense.
00:40And they still managed to lose the game and not cover.
00:43It's absolutely unbelievable.
00:45In that game, we did see Caleb Williams' struggle
00:49a significant amount.
00:50And looking at some of his baseline stats,
00:53they weren't good.
00:54When we dive into some of his advanced stats
00:56and look at CPOE, completion percentage over expectation,
00:59that was absolutely horrible.
01:01It is just one game, one quarter, one half.
01:04One game does not define any of these players.
01:07It's about how they adjust and move forward.
01:10What we saw from Bryce Young and the Panthers,
01:13that is far more concerning.
01:15Because coming into this season, there
01:16were expectations that he may take a step forward.
01:19But it was the same old Bryce Young.
01:20So what we saw from Caleb Williams is not concerning yet.
01:24If this were to be a string of games, that would be a different story.
01:27So the Colts game was very exciting.
01:29The Bears game was also exciting for a completely different reason.
01:32Oh, yeah.
01:33I couldn't agree more.
01:34And I will say this, another reason why Williams' performance didn't
01:37concern me too much today is because there
01:39was a number of plays where his offensive line kind of failed him.
01:42And it wasn't just them creating enough space for him.
01:45It was the fact that the snaps were just horrible.
01:47So he's flustered.
01:48He's trying to regain composure and then still
01:50trying to get his eyes downfield to see where and how he's going to connect.
01:54So there just seemed to be a little bit too much chaos
01:56at the line of scrimmage for me, especially for a guy like Williams.
01:59And we didn't see that in the preseason.
02:01So there might still be hope.
02:03I mean, they still find a way to come out on top.
02:05You got Levis that closed out with 127 passing yards,
02:08one touchdown, two interceptions.
02:10Those turnovers are going to get you.
02:11But yes, Williams barely came up strong with 93 passing yards.
02:16Then you mention, well, we're talking about quarterbacks, actually.
02:20I'm going to backtrack a little bit here.
02:22We had a QB shuffle take place for the Steelers.
02:25Steelers come out versus the Falcons.
02:26And then the Falcons just are not looking
02:29like the sexiest team in the NFC South.
02:31And guys, don't judge.
02:32The NFC South, I get it.
02:33People think it's a joke.
02:34But still, they were supposed to secure the top spot there.
