Transcript
00:00And with this pole win, he ties Kyle Larson for the most on the season at five poles earned.
00:06How good did that lap feel?
00:08It's just great.
00:09I'm just so proud of everybody in front row.
00:11We knew we'd have a shot based on Daytona.
00:13We sat on the pole here earlier.
00:14But to get this blaster, Ford Mustang, it's fifth pole of the year.
00:18We still got Talladega ahead, too.
00:20So we're trying to win the most poles, Watkins Glen's coming up.
00:24So just keep fighting hard, but really proud of the effort.
00:28What speed do you have?
00:29We know that.
00:30But handling matters here at Atlanta.
00:31Tomorrow, things will be way different in the draft, conditions a little bit different
00:34as well.
00:35What do you have for tomorrow?
00:36You know, that's one thing I think we've done well is even here in the spring, we let a
00:41lot of laps.
00:42Our car drove really well.
00:43And we were up front all day.
00:45And at Daytona, we had a lot of speed and obviously crashed there at the end.
00:49So it hasn't been a compromise.
00:51You know, our qualifying effort hasn't hurt our race effort.
00:54We just got a lot of speed in these Ford Mustangs.
00:55So it's been pretty wild.
00:57Congratulations.
00:58We appreciate it.
