00:00Now, I can remember clearly when you first won a Paralympic gold medal back in Barcelona in 1992.
00:05I'm that old, because it is 32 years ago, isn't it?
00:09When you were 14.
00:10Today, 32 years ago today.
00:11Is it? Oh, I didn't know that.
00:12Yeah, it's the 32nd.
00:13Oh, happy anniversary then as well.
00:15Yeah, when you look, yeah, it's still going so strong.
00:18Where does this rank, this 19th gold medal, compared to all the rest?
00:21Does it still feel so special?
00:25It does, and I think when you see that little bit of adversity in a race,
00:28you know, you have to deal with it.
00:29You know, when she attacked, I knew it was a long way to the finish,
00:32but I wasn't a foregone conclusion that I'd bring her back.
00:35So, yeah, it feels incredibly special.
00:37I get goosebumps thinking about that first one,
00:40but thinking about the journey that I've been on as an athlete,
00:42the ups and downs, the illness, the injuries,
00:44and the things that you have to do in training to make sure that you're in tip-top condition
00:49every time you get on a Paralympic Games start line.
00:51And, yeah, it's still very much a case of these haven't sunk in yet, actually,
00:55because they're heavy and they're definitely around my neck,
00:58but, yeah, I can't quite believe I'm at the end of my ninth Games.
