00:12This film begins with a tennis instructor named Chris Wilton, and he meets a rich young
00:16man named Tom Hewitt who takes a tennis lesson with him. After finish, they both enjoy eating
00:22and talk each other. The conversation runs into opera, Tom looks happy to hear that Chris
00:27also loves opera. And he invites him to come with his parent tomorrow night. As they both
00:32enter the opera, Tom introduces Chris to his family. His father, Alec, and his mother,
00:39Eleanor. Lastly, his sister, Chloe. He's really enjoying the show, meanwhile, Chloe glances
00:45over at him, sitting nearby. The next day, Chloe joins both of them to play tennis in
00:50their house. Afterward, they walk along the terrace while talk about each other. As known,
00:56Chris is a poor man from Ireland and come to London. She offers him a date. At the same
01:01time, Hewitt's family is having a party and Chris joins them. He passes through, down

01:57bag and begins walking along the pavement. He notices Nola nearby. He waves while she's
02:03in hurry. As they begin to walk together, Nola says that she has an audition and she's
02:08so nervous. He offers himself to her to come along and support her. She's gladly happy
02:13to hear that. Chris paces, waiting for Nola to return from her audition. Then, she comes
02:19and says that she's failed. All she needs now use a drink. They seated at a bar and
02:24have a drink. She tells him about her family, her childhood time was miserable. And she
02:29tells him how she met Tom. It seems like their conversations begin more sensual. Alec is
02:35having a party in his villa. Chloe, Tom, Nola, and Chris come through to join. One moment,
02:42Nola is feeding a horse, in the meantime, Chris keeps watching over her face. Alec lifts
02:47shotgun parts from a cluttered bench and assembles them. Then, he tells Chris that
02:51there's going to be a very significant position opening up, so, Alec thinks he is qualified
02:56for that. Tom and Nola play chess. Tom's mother, Eleanor, seated nearby and talk about
03:02her job. She knows about her failed audition and thinks she has to ask herself the question
03:07about what she wants for life. She offends a thing about the acting industry that's
03:11a particularly cruel business for a woman. Then, Nola turns and goes. Chris wanders the
03:17estate looking for Nola walks outside in the rain. Finally, he spots her, tries to tease
03:23her again. He kisses her passionately, she knows they can't do this, but it can't lead
03:28anyplace. So, in the middle of the rain as they pull at each other's clothes and have
03:33sex on the ground. The story goes into Chris and Chloe watch opera with Tom and Nola. Nola
03:39stands and steps through the doorway into the corridor outside to answer the call.
03:43And Chris enters the corridor and walks up to her by asking her why she avoids him.
03:48She replies that he has to move on, get back to reality. Because they're going to be brother
03:53and sister-in-law, he moves in to kiss her but she pushes him away. Hewitt's family are having
03:59a party for Chris and Chloe's engagement. Chris wanders down stairways and through corridors,
04:04sipping his drink and watching Tom and Nola who are about to have sex, but they stop because
04:08they see him. He looks so jealous. Chris and Chloe are officially married. They both move
04:14into a luxury flat that bought by Alec. The next day, Chris and Tom play tennis together. He tells
04:20him he has broke up with Nola. He found someone else and fell in love. In Chris's office, he dials
04:26Nola's phone number. Her number isn't available anymore. He decides to visit her apartment.
04:32A man says that she has gone and he doesn't know where she went. Chris wanders around the gallery,
04:37looking for Chloe. Suddenly, he happens to notice Nola standing in the near distance,
04:42but her wife spots him and lies to her if he wants to make a phone call.
04:46Then, he walks across the galley to find Nola. He finally meets her, asks her where she lives.
04:52At the same time, Chloe approaches and interrupted them both. After she leaves,
04:57he begs Nola to give her a number. And she gives it. A few days later, they have sex again in Nola's
05:03apartment. He seems so very lustful to her until he's ripping her clothes and making love
05:09passionately. They become so intense. One day, before he goes to work, Chris and Nola kiss as

05:50by boat. Suddenly, Chris's phone is ringing, it's from Nola. She calls him that she wants to talk
05:56about a serious thing. He says he's going to meet her and then, ends her call. It's dinner time,
06:02a housekeeper leans in to Chris by saying that he has an important call. He gets up to take the
06:07call, it's from Nola again. She tells him that she's pregnant. He's going to talk about that
06:13tomorrow. In the morning, he meets her. He looks so frustrated to hear her statement yesterday,
06:18how the hell did she get pregnant? She replies that last month she didn't have protection but
06:23he couldn't wait, he was too lustful. What unbelievably bad luck. Meanwhile, he can't get
06:29his wife pregnant and turns out, it happened to Nola. He offers to abort the baby, but she
06:34declines. And Chris goes away and promises to call her soon. He talks about what his problem to his
06:41friend. He says that he just can't leave his wife all that way. He has a very comfortable life with
06:46his wife. Chris and Nola are seated in a bar. He tells her that he's going away for three weeks.
06:52When he gets back, he'll tell his wife the truth. Actually, he lies about the holiday. He just wants
06:58to avoid her for a while. Nola exits a shop clutching several bags. She stops when she sees
07:04Chris, unaware of her, getting into his car. She watches, stunned, as the car pulls away. The next
07:11day, she meets Chris in the front of his office and screams, I want to talk to Chloe. You're a
07:17liar. And Chris pushes her into a taxi. They arrive at her apartment. She has told a thousand times to
07:23tell their relationship or she will tell her. And he promises to her that he tells the truth to Chloe.
07:29Just days after, Chris is in Alec's gun room. He opens the glass door, takes out a shotgun,
07:35dismantles it, and places gun parts and bullets into the tennis bag. Chris enters Nola's apartment.
07:41He climbs the steps and stops off at Mrs. Eastby's apartment. He enters the flat by saying that he
07:47wants to look at her TV, because Nola's TV is having a trouble. And then, he stalks into her
07:52kitchen and shoots Mrs. Eastby dead. After that, he goes through her things and tosses belongings
07:58onto the floor, making her apartment look like the scene of a random burglary. In the meantime,
08:04Nola comes. She headed upstairs. Chris positions himself at the top of the stairway and aims with
08:10the shotgun. As she opens the door, he calls her. She turns, and he fires. The police officers come
08:17to the scene crime to investigate Mrs. Eastby and Nola's apartment. The result explains that
08:22it might be a drug addict who robbed and killed Mrs. Eastby's apartment. As they were running out,
08:28they accidentally met Nola, so either out of panic, they've shot her too. Chloe is seated at
08:33a table for breakfast and suddenly reacts to a newspaper article about Nola's death. Meanwhile,
08:39Chris pretends to shock about what happened. As time goes by, Chris empties the remaining
08:44shotgun shells and stolen jewelry from the tennis bag. Then, he stops at an embankment
08:49and throws Mrs. Eastby's jewelry and other trinkets from the staged robbery into the river.
08:54When he gets back, Chloe announces that she's pregnant. Hewitt's family is celebrating the
08:59moment. The next day, he got called by a police officer. They know about Nola and Chris's relationship
09:05from his diary and show him. Chris in silence for a while. He starts to act and beg them to don't
09:11tell his wife about it. The police officer knows about another shooting in the area by another
09:16drug addict last night at 4 a.m. Accidentally, Mrs. Eastby's wedding ring that Chris didn't
