00:00Let's find out the latest updates on Bagyong Enteng.
00:07Joining us now is the weather presenter of GMA Integrated News Weather Center, Amor La Rosa. Amor?
00:15Thank you very much, Ms. Mel.
00:18My fellow countrymen, Bagyong Enteng is slowly moving away from our country,
00:22but don't be discouraged because the rains will continue to fall in some parts of our country.
00:27The only signs of heavy rainfall are in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sura, the northern portion of La Union, and also in Abra.
00:35It is expected that there will be heavy rainfall due to the direct effect of Bagyong Enteng.
00:43The center of severe tropical storm Enteng was last seen in the distant 165 kilometers west-northwest of Lawag City,
00:51in Ilocos Norte.
00:53The strong winds reached 95 kilometers per hour and 115 kilometers per hour.
01:01It is moving west-northwest at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour.
01:06My fellow countrymen, if it continues to move like this,
01:09it is possible that tomorrow morning, it will be outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:15Because the storm will last for a long time here in the sea,
01:20it will accumulate strength and possibly grow as a typhoon.
01:25Next, it will hit southern mainland China in the next few days.
01:30Even if the storm is far away in the country, it still feels its effect.
01:34And when it hits, the wind is strong or the southwest monsoon.
01:38Based on the data of Metro Weather, there are still rains tomorrow in almost the entire Luzon.
01:43This includes Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Central Luzon, Southern Luzon,
01:49as well as Bicol Region, Calabarzon, and Mimaropa.
01:53We expect that the rainfall will still be strong here,
01:57so be careful in places where it has been raining for a few days.
02:00Because the soil may be saturated or too soft in your area,
02:05so the chances of flooding or landslides are higher.
02:09In Visayas, there is no rain in the morning except in Panay Island.
02:14When it rains in the afternoon, there are also rains in the Negros Island Region,
02:18as well as in Central and Eastern Visayas,
02:22but it is not wide and there are only scattered rains.
02:26If you are from Mindanao, the weather is clear in the morning.
02:30There are almost no colors.
02:32This means that the chances of rain are low.
02:36But from the afternoon to the afternoon and evening,
02:39the chances of rain will gradually increase.
02:42This is the case in Sok Sarjean, Barm, Caraga, and Davao Region.
02:48This is because of the so-called localized thunderstorms that we often experience in the afternoon.
02:55Here in Metro Manila, the chances of rain is still high
03:01and the expected rainfall is still wide.
03:05There may be breaks or times when the weather will gradually calm down,
03:10but do not panic because this really happens when we are affected by the storm.
03:15But it is possible that it will still be followed by rain.
03:19So if you are going out of the house, do not forget to bring an umbrella or a raincoat.
03:24Because of the storm and the stormy weather,
03:27it will be difficult and dangerous to sail here in the western part
03:32and also in the northern seaboards of Northern Luzon.
03:36According to the forecast, there is no new storm that is currently monitoring,
03:42but there are cloud clusters that we can see outside
03:47and inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
03:51It is possible that it will be a low-pressure area in the coming days.
03:55And that is what we will continue to focus on.
03:59And that is the latest in our time.
04:01I am Amor La Rosa.
04:02This is the GMA Integrated News Weather Center.
04:05Expect any time.
