00:06Fell short of the regular season championship,
00:08though, by one point.
00:10As you look back on this race, do you do anything differently
00:13that final stage?
00:15I think where it just got a little bit sideways for myself
00:18was when Ross stayed out.
00:20I wasn't really expecting that.
00:22And then, yeah, I chose the bottom.
00:23And he did a good job and got clear of me
00:25and kind of pinched my air off into one.
00:27And then the 54 was on my right side.
00:30And then I was just stalled down the back stretch.
00:32And Chase got a great run to get by all of us.
00:34So yeah, I just wish I would have maybe executed
00:37the restart zone a little bit better there.
00:39And maybe the rest of the race plays out differently.
00:41But I had the points on my mind, knowing how close we were
00:45to Redick and the great day we had going
00:48and the kind of average day he had going.
00:50I just didn't want to get overly aggressive
00:53and take myself out of it, too.
00:55So bummer that we came up a point short.
00:58But we still got the owner's side of it.
01:00So that's always good.
01:01That's what pays the check at the end of the year.
01:05But hopefully, I can make it through each round as well
01:08as the car.
01:08So yeah, just proud of my team, proud of the pit crew today,
01:11and proud of the race car.
01:13Despite not winning the regular season championship,
01:15as things are reseeded for the playoffs,
01:17you are the number one seed with the most bonus points.
01:20What does that mean for you guys,
01:21especially as you work your way through the first round,
01:24which is kind of a wild card?
01:25Yeah, it is.
01:26Yeah, I mean, you work hard all year long to get stage wins,
01:30get race wins, to position yourself well in the playoffs,
01:34to not necessarily allow yourself a mistake.
01:37But I saw, I think, where we're 35 points above the cut line
01:41right now.
01:42So that's nice, I mean, especially
01:44when you go to a track as scary as Atlanta.
01:46But that could be wiped out in an instant.
01:49I could be below the cut line after Atlanta.
01:51That's just kind of the craziness of the system.
01:54Yeah, just keep doing what you've been doing.
01:57Our car's been really fast, and our team's
01:58been executing great.
01:59So just keep it up, and hopefully we
02:02can advance on through.
