00:00Star Wars Outlaws is the first ever open world Star Wars action-adventure game and you take
00:25the role of KVess who is a thief, a scoundrel, someone who's really new to the underworld and
00:33is really just trying to make her way to survive and she finds herself on the wrong side of a
00:39bounty which means she's sent across the galaxy to pull off a major heist you know some a score
00:47that will sort of set her and the crew up for life so it's a really exciting thing because I think
00:54it's the first time we're gonna have an open world Star Wars game but also set between Empire
00:59Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi which is just a dream time period I think for a lot of folks.
01:05I want to survive I have to play their game looks like I'm all in
01:19second thought I'm out
01:49I love motion capture I feel like it's a mix between like TV and film and theater you are
02:01very physical you're alive in your body you have to have a bit more awareness of all of your body
02:07parts because you're not just here you're everywhere so you have to feel alive you have to
02:12be very conscious of all of your movements and they have to come from something I always think
02:17of video games as like if you're watching a scene you should be able to turn the volume off and you
02:21would still be able to get and understand what's happening because it's so much of body language I
02:25feel like even if you're not a diehard fan you know what Star Wars is you've been exposed to you
02:32know either the comics or the toys or the movies the shows it comes in so many forms of media for
02:38me I grew up in Venezuela so for me it was in Spanish and it was Guerrilla Galaxias and it was
02:44it's the fact that I can hit as far as that to my roots and getting to relate to my family and
02:50my friends back home and not even people I know but just them knowing that there's a Latina
02:55representing such a big franchise I think it's really inspiring
03:00I know you got enemies and I got a problem with a gatekeeper droid let's make a deal you got a
03:19ship I got a ship original parts the moment we we signed a deal with Lucas we we start
03:41researching into everything that was done in terms of original saga right so we made our
03:47homework we try to understand the story we're trying to understand the approach and of course
03:55we try to build this story up in a way that it doesn't break what was created so basically just
04:02compliments and it fits into the universe and in the Lord that was created get off my ship Jalen
04:08give me a chance you're gonna have to trust me it'll be dangerous risky but if you pull this
04:16off you'll never look over your shoulder again
04:20the underworld shows no mercy
04:37it's a big galaxy out there and I'm gonna risk it all
04:50you
