00:00Seattle and the Angels in Anaheim tonight, George Kirby's Dreamland against the great
00:11Samuel Addergary tonight.
00:14The Angels have pulled some good ones out recently, so Samuel, young Samuel, the next
00:18arm that gets thrown to the Wolves in Anaheim for the Angels, who are plus 160, the Mariners
00:24are minus 190, and an eight and a half.
00:29Yeah, I think to me this would all be about fading the rookie, right, making his debut.
00:34And by the way, I look at his double-A starts here, he's got over a five ERA, a 1.44 whip.
00:42It wasn't like he was fooling anybody in double-A. Even Seattle should be able to put some runs
00:49on the board here against that one.
00:51I wouldn't mind.
00:52I think Kirby will have no problem limiting the Angels.
00:56I think the run line is in play for Seattle tonight.
01:00It certainly is.
01:01The biggest series of the weekend, a four-game series, these two are actually going to play
01:05into Monday on Labor Day as well, the Dodgers and the Diamondbacks.
01:10The Diamondbacks, of course, within four games with how scorching hot they have been over
01:14the last couple of months.
01:16They will have Zach Gallen, their best pitcher, going tonight against L.A. at home.
01:20Clayton Kershaw goes for the Dodgers, who are minus 135.
01:24You're getting the Snakes at plus-a-buck 15 at home, and an eight-and-a-half.
01:28Boy, oh boy, it's tough to take an under in this spot here with these two teams.
01:38But doesn't this feel like a playoff atmosphere kind of situation?
01:41They say Freeman is listed as probable to return tonight.
01:46He has not been in that lineup the last couple of days, but it didn't matter, right?
01:51He was still able to handle business against the Orioles.
01:54Zach Gallen has had some issues against the Dodgers in the past, but I think this is a
02:00playoff series here, Carver, to me.
02:03And I think both of these guys here with Kershaw and Gallen, they'll show up in the big moments,
02:09and I think the under is the way to look in this one.
02:12It's a monster series, Joe, obviously.
02:14You're talking about you're turning the calendar to September this weekend.
02:18You have a four-game series in your building.
02:21If you think you can actually get them and win this division, you gotta take three out
02:26of four and leave two back, right?
02:28I mean, I think that that's what you're thinking.
02:31I think anything else, you know, you leave with it chopped and it's still four, or you
02:35lose three out of four and it ends up going to six, I think that then you say goodbye
02:40and you focus on the wild card.
02:43But they do have an opportunity if they can make it happen here this weekend.
02:47And finally, the Marlins are in San Francisco.
02:50Adam Ahler against Blake Snell, who, as you know, Joe, has been outstanding his last few
02:55starts out.
02:56Minus 265, four to Giants, that's heavy, plus 215 for the fish and a seven and a half.
03:06Yeah, the Marlins are nine and 37 versus lefties this year.
03:13I'll repeat.
03:14Nine and 37 against lefties.
03:16And you just said you got one of the best lefties the game has seen this year, and Blake
03:20Snell on the mound.
03:23To me, this is all about, I think, aren't they, who are they rolling out here?
03:28They're rolling out some 50-year-old, too, I think the Marlins, to pitch here tonight.
03:33So to me, this is...
03:34Adam Ahler.
03:35Adam Ahler.
03:36Ahler, yes.
03:37Ahler, yes.
03:38That's great.
03:40Independent league, because they have nobody else who wants to throw.
03:44Yeah, this is run line for me.
03:46I expect...
03:47And by the way, the Giants have done a great...
03:49They've been selling out at home all season long.
03:52The fans are excited.
03:54Every time Blake Snell pitches, place is rocking.
03:57Run line for me.
03:58I'll lay it with the Giants.
