ZYNKROSIS, 24, from Oregon, has an amazing 'Cyber Goth' look and loves everything, Neon, Cybernetic, Vibrant and Ultraviolet! Zynkrosis' infatuation with the subculture came from a viral YouTube video of Cybergoths dancing in an underpass which led to them really finding their place and confidence. Zynkrosis told Transformed: "I got called eccentric a lot as a child, so I think part of me wanting to dress alternatively, is out of spite as people tried to tell me how I should act and look. I always wanted to fit in with the typical beauty standards but as my body changed I found myself in a different way. I definitely feel the most confident in my Cyber Goth style." Sadly, Zynkrosis has been the victim of some negative judgements whilst out in public due to their unique look. They said: "I've been judged quite a lot in public because of my style. On one occasion, whilst I was driving with my window cracked slightly, a car full of girls drove by sticking their phones out of the window and filmed into my car whilst laughing at me. It actually made me feel sad for them and their insecurities rather than mine." Today, with the help of makeup artist Chloe, Zynkrosis will be transformed from their 'Cybergoth Look' to a 'Glamorous Barbie' in order to surprise their best friends Faye & Zoe, but how will they react? Will they recognise Zynkrosis in their new Barbie look? And will they love it, or hate it?

02:40Before I discovered the wonders of Hot Topic, I wanted to kind of look like
02:46cuz she was like the beauty standard.
02:48But as my body changed, I realized I don't have thigh gaps.

02:55And so that kind of got me down until I was able to discover myself in a different way.

03:25filming into my car because of how I looked and laughing and then they zoomed off.
03:30It just made me kind of feel sad for them cuz obviously there's insecurities and
03:35they probably judge their own friends between each other being like, I'm prettier.

07:29I think their reactions were super genuine,
07:33and it was fun to see us, like,
07:35cracking little jokes between each other about it.

07:39but I definitely think it isn't something
07:43I would wear normally.
07:45I think, if anything, it kind of just encouraged me
07:47to be myself more and wear what I normally wear
07:50and that I'm pretty secure in looking like that.

07:55to not be afraid to be yourself,
07:57but also don't be afraid of branching out
07:59in different directions.
