Sixteen foreign nationals were arrested during a raid at Jalan Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, on Sunday (Aug 25).

Kuala Lumpur Immigration Department Director Wan Mohammed Saupee Wan Yusoff reported that the operation, dubbed Ops KL Strike Force, was conducted in collaboration with Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and other enforcement agencies.

The operation was initiated under the directive of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa, with the goal of making the capital city a safer and more comfortable place.
