00:07The Persekutuan's 30 years of glory without a gold medal is a shocking achievement

00:15because they defeated their nearest rival, Perak,

00:18which is represented by some of the youngest players

00:21such as Shi Homi and Mitsuki Leong in a team event.

00:24The training session has started since the end of the last edition

00:30and I hope the efforts will continue to dominate the next edition.

00:40I think this year we have a mixture of senior and junior players.

00:46It was a very risky strategy,

00:51but as a head coach, I do believe it's not just about winning this competition,

00:57but we do want to have a feeder program,

01:00so we can always produce players and maintain and get better in the result.

01:08The competition is definitely very tough.

01:12I mean, Sukma is like once in two years,

01:15so it's a very tough competition.

01:17The pressure is very high.

01:18You could see some players who normally finish 2-3 weeks,

01:23competing 2-3 weeks, 4 weeks non-stop,

01:25but after one week, you could see they are mentally exhausted

01:30because of the pressure, the expectation from the team,

01:33from their association, parents and all that, from the coaches' expectations.

01:40So it's mentally a bit tough for them.
