00:00Well, I wanted to come on the show here at the end and say congratulations, the state
00:08of Nebraska.
00:09You have legalized online sports betting, and now I have to do the opposite.
00:13What a down year, Matt, for sports betting operators and the states that they're trying
00:19to get into.
00:20I mean, this is the slowest year we've had since they legalized sports betting.
00:25That's not going to get much better moving forward, Craig.
00:27We either have significant religious issues, political issues, or we have tribal gaming
00:33entities that now all have their hands in the last remaining, what is it, 12 states,
00:39I think.
00:40So everything is going to be a little hard to come by.
00:44We had been hearing, Nebraska, that there was a chance, and there was a chance, and
00:48there was a chance.
00:49But finally, on the last day, we saw that it was said including online sports betting
00:55in any bill would be considered a poison pill to that bill.
00:59And so it just had to be dropped and forgotten about.
01:01So Craig, I don't know what 2025 is going to look like.
01:04I don't know that Texas is going to be involved in it at that point either.
01:08I don't know how California is going to start to shape up.
01:11But yeah, we're now looking at a much slower period and a much longer drawn out process
01:17for the remaining states to get on board.
