The week has been building up to today's final showdown in the Alps, with the remaining 120 riders facing 3955m elevation over 149.9km. There are three classified climbs along the route, beginning with the 2nd category Col de Tamié. After 78.8km the Peloton will hit the bottom of the Col du Glandon, a 19.5km, 7.2% ascent that will take them to the race's highest elevation; 1933m. A fast descent and then immediately onto the slopes of the legendary Alpe d'Huez where the overall winner will be decided.
