00:29:37because Malenko, I'm proud of the man,
00:29:40he must be proud of himself,
00:29:41the new U.S. champion,
00:29:43man of a thousand holes,
00:29:45but there's not a better man around
00:29:48as far as I'm concerned on that mat.
00:29:52Scotty Riggs of the American males
00:29:55and making his way in here
00:29:59on WCW Monday Nitro,
00:30:01and of course, Dean Malenko,
00:30:02truly one of the hottest.
00:30:04Last night during Uncensored,
00:30:06Scotty Riggs and Buff Bagwell
00:30:07went at it in a strap match.
00:30:09Here are some of the sights
00:30:10of the strap match.
00:30:12It was really a high impact match.
00:30:13A lot of high risk maneuvers
00:30:15from the top,
00:30:16uncharacteristic of a strap match
00:30:18with Scotty Riggs and Buff Bagwell.
00:30:20And last night,
00:30:21as that match was going on,
00:30:23Bagwell finally made his way around
00:30:25to all the corners,
00:30:27finally tagged the final corner
00:30:29as Bagwell had the man knocked out,
00:30:31tagged the final corner
00:30:33with his rear end
00:30:35and got the win last night.
00:30:43Well, so Bagwell gets the win
00:30:46for the NWO in that strap match last night.
00:30:48And speaking of last night,
00:30:50it was a big night for this man.
00:30:51Here he is.
00:30:53The belt around his waist,
00:30:55the United States heavyweight champion,
00:30:58Dean Malenko.
00:30:59That definitely was a big night for Dean,
00:31:01but when you got the ability,
00:31:03the background and the knowledge Malenko has

00:31:07I mean, this guy is always serious.

00:31:13He's gonna have them,
00:31:14and hopefully he'll hold on
00:31:16to the US championship for a long time.

00:31:40And that may have been an underhanded way
00:31:41for Malenko to win it,

00:31:43there was a no disqualification clause
00:31:45in the match last night,
00:31:46so basically,
00:31:47using an outside illegal object
00:31:49was legal last night.
00:31:50He took advantage of a situation
00:31:52that we all know
00:31:53Eddie Guerrero would have done
00:31:55if he had the opportunity.
00:31:57And hey, Riggs!

00:44:41First time we had seen this man, Mortis, in action,
00:44:44this man going up against the undefeated Glacier
00:44:47with that chronic kick, and it was quite a match-up.
00:44:50It was a martial arts match-up
00:44:52where any martial arts maneuver was legal.
00:44:54The chronic kick, the spinwheel kick, the round kick,
00:44:57the hook kick working last night,
00:44:59but I tell you, Mortis showed us a lot.
00:45:01He's a man who is more than just well-schooled in martial arts.
00:45:04He is a fighter, but the chronic kick was on target for the win for Glacier.
00:45:08However, this mammoth man came out on the behest of James Vandenberg.
00:45:13Whoever this man was, we don't know,
00:45:15but he helped pummel Glacier last night, he and Mortis,
00:45:19so the story is not over yet of the background
00:45:22of what has gone on in the past with Glacier and this man, Mortis.
00:45:25Apparently there is another man on the scene that wants to take Glacier,
00:45:29this man who is still undefeated in our sport, completely out.
00:45:33Well, Mortis couldn't do it.
00:45:35I'm kind of confused on the whole situation.
00:45:37I know that this Vander...
00:45:39Vandenberg.
00:45:40Vandenberg is a collector of rare oddities.
00:45:44And Mortis is a rare oddity, apparently.
00:45:46So is the other individual.
00:45:48He sure was. One of the biggest names we have seen in a long time.

00:46:12After Sting had completely run through the NWO,
00:46:15talking about Hauling Mags and Savage,
00:46:18he slowly pointed his baseball bat towards Hollywood Hulk Hogan.
00:46:22And I think that was very symbolic.
00:46:24He was not pointing at Rodman, he was pointing,
00:46:27I feel, at Hollywood Hulk Hogan.
00:46:29I feel he was representing the entire WCW,
00:46:32pointing at the one man that he wanted to get,
00:46:35one man that he wanted to take out,
00:46:37and that one man is the world champion Hulk Hogan.
00:46:39Obviously, he's not gonna waste time with Rodman.

00:53:36it was the number one most memorable event we've ever had in World Championship Wrestling.

00:53:43The NWO's victory at Uncensored, tainted though it might be,
00:53:46has to take a backseat as far as the future of World Championship Wrestling is concerned.
00:53:51Because six months worth of questions about Sting's allegiance were finally answered.
00:53:56It was a big moment for all of us, but as he said, the NWO did get a victory.
00:54:00And as we've heard tonight, the NWO continues with their insults, with their challenges.
00:54:05They're feeling good.
00:54:07They really have carte blanche to go anywhere against any title they want to.
00:54:09And that's all they needed.
00:54:11They needed that power.
00:54:13They needed that little extra oomph.
00:54:15That's what the NWO drives on.
00:54:17Well, let them drive all they want.
00:54:19But they're going to get in a wreck.

00:57:00They rolled in the ring, and then, using the Halliburton,
00:57:04a loaded Halliburton, on the back of Public Enemy.
00:57:07Mongo McMichael and Jeff Jarrett helped Kylam Heat go to victory last night
00:57:12in that Texas Tornado match.
00:57:14So even though they were involved in another match,
00:57:16the bad blood continues with the Horsemen and Public Enemy.
00:57:19Well, remember, Steve Mongo McMichael and Jeff Jarrett
00:57:22were originally scheduled to be participants in that Texas Tornado match
00:57:25against the Public Enemy.
00:57:27Wow.
00:57:29There's a lot of trouble going on with the Horsemen.

00:57:33One faction's fighting the other.
00:57:35And who knows if Debra McMichaels has eyes for Jarrett.

01:20:59And it seemed to me, we talked about the cohesiveness of the Horsemen,

01:21:08because we saw Jarrett and Mongo pretty much stick together earlier,
01:21:12and we heard what Arne Anderson had to say as well.

01:30:33Well, they've certainly proven themselves,
01:30:34both of these teams with multiple world title reigns.

01:30:38It's the brothers versus the brothers in this one.

01:30:41And I'll tell you something, this is a very important match for Harlem Heat.
