00:18This is just such a fresh outlook on a good, fun arena shooter.

00:22It kind of builds on what Splitgate 1 was.

00:26It's got your portals, DMRs that are single shot.

00:29I would say action-packed, fast-paced.

00:31The movement and adding that slide mechanic sort of makes a world of difference when it comes to being able to run and gun.

00:36It's no longer just portaling and gunplay. It's like factions, comboing with utility, the abilities.

00:43Really, the factions are the biggest thing, just because of their passives and ability that you use.

00:53Your teammate is going for a capture.

00:56Aerosmith is just high APM, fast movement. You've got to run around.

01:01You're porting behind people, shooting them, killing them. Go back to your portal, reset, pop a stim.

01:06This role is mainly the entry fragging role.

01:08I would say that's more geared towards the mechanically skilled players.

01:12Using that rush ability also increases the pacing.

01:15I was able to just zip in and also do those portal, portal, portal, portal.

01:19Reload faster, combine that with the sprinter, and you're just assassinating people really quickly.

01:24And it's just really nice because the movement with everything feels very satisfying.

01:29It's like, I'm a fragger, you know what I mean?

01:31I'm going for kills, I'm moving around the map, and I'm taking out the entire team.

01:40I got heals.

01:42I got walls.

01:43Timmy's on point right now.

01:45The Faction Meridian is way more appealing, in my opinion, to support players

01:49because there are abilities that can help you survive and help your teammates survive,

01:53that you can kind of support them and keep them up, but also get kills at the same time.

01:58Like, I would use my hypersight to see when people are flanking,

02:01and it kind of just detects people behind walls.

02:04You can see their HP, where they're at. Just the info by itself is good for your team.

02:08But also it does give you the ability to frag out yourself, which is nice.

02:11I think that the Time Dome is actually one of the best gadgets in the entire game.

02:15It's really useful any time, really, you're in a gunfight with anybody.

02:18You can use it for yourself selfishly by just throwing it on the ground

02:21and standing in it and being able to shoot faster, you reload faster, you move faster.

02:25There's pretty much no downsides.

02:27And if the enemy ends up stepping into it, they have the reverse effects of that,

02:30which is obviously huge.

02:33Dude, the grenades are so good.

02:35I just threw two a point, got two with the nades.

02:38Obviously, portals are big, but Sobrask, I feel like, is the faction

02:42that you can get away with the most not using the portals.

02:47Not as many moves as you'd expect.

02:49I mean, if you're going to be using the portals,

02:51you're going to want to be able to get away with it.

02:53You're going to want to be able to get away with it.

02:55You're going to want to be able to get away with it.

02:57You're going to want to be able to get away with it.

03:00Not as many movement perks compared to the other two factions,

03:04but with all the abilities and the guns, you have a lot of versatility.

03:07You have the smart wall, which is basically a pop-up shield

03:11that blocks enemy bullets from your enemy depending on where you place it.

03:15But you can shoot through it.

03:16If you place it down and you're getting shot in the back,

03:18you can then go to the opposite side of the smart wall.

03:21And pairing the wall with the sticky grenades,

03:23I can walk in any room in any building and wall off one area

03:25and then grenade a certain doorway and hold down the zone.

03:28So if you can get to a power position on the map,

03:31the smart wall was like a necessity.

03:34I don't have the utility to stay on point.

03:36I have a healing grenade. I can just plant it sideways.

03:38I think you put the shield down, put the heal grenade,

03:41and then you guys just play off of each other,

03:43and I can just play at the side angle.

03:46For me, after playing Splitgate 2,

03:48I'm looking forward to just the actual release of the game.

03:51There's going to be more game modes, more guns, more power weapons,

03:55more maps.

03:57I mean, the big thing is, it's a real sequel.

04:00It still holds the core fundamental values of Splitgate,

04:03so it's still Splitgate.

04:04It's not going too far away from the original game,

04:07but it still has that fast-paced arena shooter feel

04:10that brings a lot of people back.

04:12And in this, you can spawn in, hit some shots,

04:15play with your friends.

04:16I'm excited for people to see it.

04:17I think they're going to like it a lot.
