00:00What's your name? My name's Debbie. And what is it you're doing here today?
00:03So we are Hobby Horse in Scotland and we're just running a children's hobby horse event
00:09at the Black Isle Show today. And how long have you been doing that for? About three months.
00:15It's a very, very new club, yes. So what is Hobby Horse in? We've seen it on online,
00:20you know, I'm sure people have seen it on TikTok, Instagram. Yeah, so I mean Hobby Horse is just,
00:25you know, horses head on a stick and all of the things that you would do with regular horses,
00:30but just a little bit more accessible for people who don't have their own horses.
00:33It's tons of fun, loads of laughs, and you just kind of pretend. And you do the Hobby Horse and
00:39Jumps and we do dressage and, you know, you do different events and, yeah, and we do online photo
00:47shows and that kind of thing where you can go out for hacks with your hobby horse. And it's just
00:52aimed at, you know, younger children who just really love horses but perhaps aren't ready to
00:57compete for real on their horses yet. So what made you decide to do this? I think we've,
01:03you know, we've always been involved in the horse world and it was just like, I don't ride anymore
01:09and we've had our own little children who we've had Hobby Horses for. So it was just a natural
01:15progression really of kind of a fun way to still enjoy the horse world without actually having
01:20horses. So, like you say, much more accessible. And how is it going today at the Black Isle Show?
01:25Oh, it's been brilliant. Just like lots of enthusiasm, just the kids' faces. We've had
01:31people bringing their own Hobby Horse to have a go and people who've come multiple times
01:37just having a go and just the smiles on their faces, you know, says it all really, yeah.
