00:00They're making, here it is, I mean, you're looking at their little soccer stadium, everybody
00:06who's listening on radio.
00:08For those of us that are watching on video, there's this little soccer stadium, basketball
00:12facility in the back, the luxury suites across the way, food and beverage for all their sponsors
00:16and partners.
00:17And here was my radio set up yesterday afternoon.
00:19You notice they don't even have goalposts on the field.
00:21They got a, they got a wheel in the goalposts when they do field goal, you know?
00:25So no kicks allowed.
00:27But it was interesting because I, we were talking to their management.
00:30We were trying to get an understanding of why they moved there.
00:33When they were at UC Irvine, they would have to bus everybody to a hotel and back.
00:38And that took a lot of time.
00:39And apparently in the collective bargaining agreement, you're only allowed to have the
00:42players for 11 hours a day.
00:44So they were screwing themselves up with an hour of travel back and forth from the team
00:48hotel to the practices.
00:50Now everybody's staying on campus.
00:51They were able to get back that hour by keeping everybody close by.
00:54So that was pretty cool.
00:56I mean, two hours, technically, if you count back and forth.
00:59Yeah.
01:00I mean, I don't really know how the distance of the buses into the hotel and everything
01:04else, but I'll tell you guys, I have some video.
01:07Let me tell you something.
01:08Rams fans are crazy about Puka Nakua.
01:11This guy hit the scene in year one, and this is right after practice.
01:15He's he's 10 feet from the radio setup.
01:18And this guy is trying to sign every autograph that he can sign.
01:21And the fans are going Puka, Puka, Puka.
01:25They love this guy.
01:26And that's why I was saying last year, I felt like the Rams did a better job last year of
01:31getting more integrated into the community because they finally had like a homegrown
01:36first year face guy, you know, that everybody fell in love with.
01:41So Puka Nakua was out there signing autographs.
01:44It was a very good practice.
01:46So what did we learn about Matthew Stafford's contract?
01:49Is he now the top paid quarterback in the NFL?
01:51You know, they're not really talking about it, which is amazing.

01:54They keep things super quiet.
01:55The Rams operate differently, you know, like you mean, like, for example, they don't even
02:02send a team of like like Sean McVeigh never goes to the to the combine in Indianapolis.
