00:15Maris, at 6.27 this morning, the Bureau of Fire Protection declared the fire under control

00:24in a fire that broke out in a market here in Barangay Santa Monica in Novaliches, Quezon City.

00:30At 5 in the morning, Maris, when this fire started,

00:32the story of our shopkeepers is that the fire spread quickly in adjacent shops here in the market.

00:38This is also one of the biggest markets here in Barangay Santa Monica.

00:42The third alarm was raised by the Bureau of Fire Protection.

00:45There were 22 fire trucks responding,

00:48as well as fire volunteers.

00:50The shops in some of the shops were completely destroyed.

00:53The shopkeepers were in trouble,

00:54especially as they were just waking up from the flood that they experienced the past few days.
