00:00people to be able to go and complain, that's the other thing, you know, being able to go, not even complain,
00:05to voice your concerns. If you feel like you're being bullied or you feel like
00:09this thing, this situation that you're in feels toxic and unsafe,
00:15having the courage to go and say something is so important and we are not
00:21cultivating that environment.
00:24We are making out that women who complain,
00:27not complain, women who voice their concerns about a situation are
00:34trolls through the press, scent death threats, rape threats, are not taken
00:39seriously. Often by women. Yeah, what I experienced in that room
00:44happened, I know it happened because it happened to me
00:48and I'm not a sensational person, I don't, I'm not hysterical,
00:52I don't make things out to be bigger than they are, I know
00:56what happened to me in that room wasn't acceptable.
00:59I complained about it and sort of have not been taken seriously.
01:04Not only me, three other women and more potentially coming forward.
01:10We have to cultivate a society and an environment where women can come forward
01:14and say, yeah, or men, because it happens to men as well,
01:18this, I'm finding this uncomfortable, can you do something about it
01:22and then something be done about it, that's all and I think
01:26you know, we need to be brave and I want to stand up for any woman, any woman
01:31who feels that they don't have a voice, I will be there for her, championing her
01:34and saying, yeah, I've got you.
