Liverpool’s Empire Theatre to get a facelift

00:37To allow for work to go ahead, scaffolding would be required around the canopy.
00:41Metal and timber works will undergo renovations as well as a series of repairs to windows throughout the building.
00:47A date for the work to begin has yet to be announced,
00:50subject to approval from Liverpool Council's planning department.
00:54It is not expected that performances will be impacted by the work.
