Tiniyak ni Senate President Chiz Escudero na kayang ipasa ng Kongreso ang pag-amyenda sa EPIRA o Electric Power Industry Reform Act bago ang susunod na SONA ni Pangulong Marcos.
Isa ang pagrepaso sa EPIRA sa mga hiniling ng pangulo sa kaniyang SONA, para raw mapababa ang singil sa kuryente.
