00:00The awards races at the all-star break in Major League Baseball. One final full
00:05day of the all-star break before action resumes with a full slate on a Friday
00:10tomorrow. Aaron Judge well positioned to win his second AL MVP award in the last
00:16three years. Minus 370. We just debated what it would take for Judge not to win
00:21that hardware once again. Seems unlikely. But as you go through the other award
00:25races with odds available to bet at the FanDuel Sportsbook. Donnie, what's the
00:29most compelling one to you? I guess like from an MVP market like I do think it's
00:35over at this point on both sides barring injury. Rightfully so you got two great
00:39baseball players. But maybe it's that Cy Young award-winning market in both the
00:43National League and the American League of which you take it in totality. Looking
00:46at the American League school ball has been fantastic. Burns has been fantastic.
00:50Loeb and Gilbert is a solid pitcher. I don't think that's going to happen or
00:53quite frankly anybody below that. But that one-two punch right now you could
00:56make a great argument for you to one of those guys. And sometimes what you're
01:00not supposed to do is give those extra curriculars. And what I talk about is
01:03well Donnie Detroit they're not gonna be playing for anything down the stretch.
01:06That's not really a high leverage situation when coming down the stretch
01:09Corbin Burns might be fighting for the best overall record in baseball and or
01:13just winning his division. Now if we're taking a look at the other markets here
01:17Chris Sale, Zach Wheeler, Paul Skeens. This is probably even more intriguing
01:21than the American League. Why? Because Paul Skeens is that five to one the price.
01:25If you can extrapolate and say I think he's gonna pitch exactly the way he did
01:29over his first you know dozen starts the remaining parts of the season he's
01:33probably going to wind up being the Cy Young. But also it really is an award
01:37that's built on statistics. Now wins certainly aren't the really the true
01:41measure of a pitcher because a lot of things have to happen for him. Which
01:44means your batters have to give you enough of an advantage for you to pitch
01:47well and still come away with victories. So many times you'll see them leave at
01:50the end of five or six innings in a tie game won nothing and take a loss which
01:54is ridiculous. But having said that did you know coming into the second half of
01:57the season Paul Skeens is 60th in Major League Baseball in strikeouts. Which it
02:02seems like he probably should be number one. But that's not because of him. That's
02:05because he didn't get the pitch over the first you know few months of the season
02:08before coming on strong. Sale plus 125. Zach Wheeler 165. Skeens five to one.
02:13I honestly feel like Ben that is a true toss-up between three players. That one
02:19of those players talking about Paul Skeens it's not his athletic ability
02:22that will do him in. It's management shutting him down at the end of the
02:25season. 89 strikeouts for Paul Skeens so far in only 11 starts. He is averaging
02:33better than 8 K's per outing. 11 in his last one before the all-star break. He
02:39has had eight plus in six of the last seven. There are markets you can bet
02:43individual things to happen here down the home stretch. Paul Skeens to have a
02:48175 strikeouts plus 140. To get to 150 that's juiced at minus 225. Some of that
02:56will be where Pittsburgh is. The Pirates have won four straight. Six of their last
03:00seven entering the all-star break. Now back to an even 500. I think Skeens is
03:05numbered at a 5 to 1 price to win the National League Cy Young Award. Donny
03:09you said this yesterday. If Pittsburgh is in the thick of a wild-card race in the
03:13National League and Paul Skeens is leading the charge that number is going
03:17to grow drastically shorter. It just is. Whether he will end up winning the NL
03:22Cy Young Award that remains to be seen. The Cy Young race is by far the two most
03:27compelling but it's really a two-pitcher race. Not in the National League where
03:31it's probably three with Zach Wheeler and Chris Sale. It's a two-pitcher race
03:36in the American League. Tarek Skubal for Detroit and Corbin Burns. It is
03:40interesting Donny because individual hardware we often associate with team
03:45success right. One guy leading their team to overall success as an
03:50organization but you can still have success individually as a pitcher if
03:55your team struggles because you're starting once every five games on
03:59average. You could be winning all of your starts and then the other four days of
04:03the week your team is starting to struggle. That's where although Corbin
04:08Burns could be the ace of the staff of the team that ends with the best record
04:12in the American League. Tarek Skubal I think still deserves to be that odds on
04:16minus money favorite at minus 130. 10 to 1 before the year got underway. Burns was
04:22the favorite at an 8 to 1 number. I would still bet Skubal in favor of that
04:27individual match bet if you will against Corbin Burns. Yeah 25, 30, 40, 50 years ago
04:33you're you know banking on the Cy Young and say well hey man well he didn't get
04:36to 20 wins this year. He can't be that guy. Knowing full well that maybe that
04:40guy would've got the 20 wins easily if he was on a good baseball team. I think
04:43that was certainly debunked with King Felix for the Seattle Mariners who I
04:46believe had an under 500 record but was so filthy dominant his team just
04:50couldn't hit. They didn't hold it against them so there's a lot more
04:52metrics other than wins and quite frankly wins are so far down the list at
04:56this point. Even when you're voting like the Hall of Fame hey we're never gonna
04:59see a guy win 300 or 200 games ever again. It's not really what the you know
05:03battle lines are drawn now for pitchers and what makes them great. It's the
05:06individual statistics and how they hold up by themselves. So that'll be
05:10interesting and again but I always like to look at the extras right. Chris Sale
05:13if he ends up and the Atlanta Braves surpassed the Philadelphia Phillies in
05:17the race to win their division sometime late in September maybe gets an extra
05:21bonus. A tough ball to be on Skeens and Skeens might get the bonus. Hey by the
05:24way Pittsburgh was bad. Skeens showed up he's been filthy all the way through and
05:27now Pittsburgh is gonna make the playoffs that probably can play into it
05:30as well. That is an intriguing that National League Cy Young very very
05:34intriguing. I think it's the best race of any of the odds that we have listed
05:38here. National League Rookie of the Year Paul Skeens is going to run away with
05:43that award. You can already start sketching his name on the trophy at this
05:47moment. American League Rookie of the Year Wyatt Langford and our guy Luis
05:51don't call him heel for the New York Yankees was in minus money but it
05:57started a struggle since the month of May came to a close. Any thoughts DRS on
06:02any of these other races? Rookie of the Year in the American League maybe Manager
06:06of the Year in the AL. Steven Vogt right now first-year skipper for the Cleveland
06:11Guardians and Cleveland's got the best record in the American League. You take a
06:15look at the Comeback Player of the Year market right and let's just use the
06:18National League quickly here. Chris Sales involved in that he has been flat-out
06:22sensational. Reece Hoskins the 60 to 1 you know breaking there's not breaking
06:26the leg blowing out the knee last year so that market is intriguing to me but I
06:29find myself looking at this Comeback Player of the Year like Garrett Crochet
06:32Jack Flaherty we're talking about the American League Logan O'Hoppy Carlos
06:36Correa that might be a decent one but like Garrett like by the way what did
06:40Garrett Crochet come back for was he a bad pitcher did he get hurt like I have
06:43no idea what that story even is so I sort of get a laugh out of that market
06:46where he's the decided favorite well I have no idea what he's actually coming
06:49back from. I'm looking at it right now would miss the entire 2022 season after
06:55undergoing Tommy John surgery. Crochet was the first guy out of the 22. How long did he get to come back?
07:03He made 13 starts last year. Oh come on now. Pitching in 13 contests only 12 and
07:10two-thirds so I get it actually that does make sense all right anyway the
07:15final full day of the Major League Baseball all-star break before the home
07:19stretch in the second half of this regular season continues with a full
07:23slate Friday tomorrow every team around the bigs that's all 30 clubs have played
07:29at least 95 of their 162 regular season games so not exactly the midway point of
07:36the year but the second half of the season if you will so to get you set and
07:41to project what we think we will see all the way through October we have a little
07:45bit of a pick six here here are the six components of our pick six a World Series
07:51exacta who wins the World Series and the two pennant winners that will face
07:56off a team to watch for any reason a postseason contender somebody we expect
08:01to make a flurry of deals in the next two weeks before that MLB trade deadline
08:06a player to watch in the second half of this year will they have the favorites
08:11Aaron judge and Shohei Ohtani both when the MVP Awards our favorite award bet in
08:16those markets at this moment in our best playoff bet a team to contend for one of
08:20those playoff spots around MLB if that was confusing all six components of the
08:26pick six for the second half will continue to refresh over these next two
08:30segments but DRS let's start it off with our World Series predictions what is
08:35your updated World Series matchup and who goes home a World Series champion in
08:40early November this year in 2024 let's go back to 2009 where the Philadelphia
08:45Phillies took on the New York Yankees that's who I believe is going to meet up
08:48here in the 2024 World Series and that is at a 15 to 1 price I think the
08:54Phillies are the best team overall in the National League and I do think that
08:57if the changes are made at the deadline and both teams are equal between the
09:01Dodgers and the Phillies that means they each make a move it's like okay that got
09:04them a little bit better that got them a little bit better I think that stands up
09:07I just can't have those Los Angeles Dodgers go out there and go crazy at the
09:11deadline and be like what is going on in Major League Baseball is gonna have to
09:14have a meeting at the end of the season where most teams are going to quit
09:16because the Dodgers have an unfair playing advantage outside of that I
09:19think the Phillies will be fine also the New York Yankees not playing their best
09:23baseball into the all-star break we understand that they quite frankly for
09:26the first what April and May should have held a lead over the Baltimore Orioles
09:30slip that up a little bit within one game here but again it's not about
09:33winning the regular season end or even the division itself how do you think
09:36this team is going to set up for the playoffs I think the Yankees will be
09:39just fine so for me Phillies over the Yankees at a 15 to 1 price in this year's
09:43World Series so slightly different than then o9 that's the last time the Yankees
09:49won a World Series crown the last time they even won an American League pennant
09:54but the Phillies on top DRS I would have to agree now I think people could look
09:59at you and say oh Donnie likes the Phillies the biggest Philadelphia fan we
10:02know sure makes sense I like the Phillies too and here's why I have the
10:07Phil's over my hometown Dodgers in the National League pennant market and to
10:12win a World Series because I know the Dodgers are really banged up but even at
10:17full strength maybe you give the Dodgers a slight edge offensively I think at
10:21full strength I still give an advantage to the Phil's in terms of their starting
10:27staff and maybe every pitcher they have in their club Zack Wheeler Aaron Nola
10:33Ranger Suarez who has been sensational this year and Donnie when you look at
10:37Suarez's stats the last two October runs right October for Philadelphia he's
10:42been as good as you could want from a postseason starter give me the Phil's
10:46versus the Dodgers in that pitching edge thus leading Philadelphia to a World
10:51Series appearance and I believe in Baltimore this was my World Series
10:56prediction before the year the Phillies and the O's I still have confidence in it
11:01I think the O's will learn from last year being the number one overall seed
11:05in the American League postseason but getting bounced in the division round in
11:09a sweep against the reigning champs the Texas Rangers I believe Baltimore will
11:13invest in another arm at the trade deadline I think Baltimore wins the
11:18American League so Phillies over the O's for my World Series exacta it makes
11:24sense too and also you take a look at the price points between Ben and myself
11:2715 to 1 and 17 to 1 so we're not as far going out on a limb but it just goes to
11:31show you how closely packed the Orioles and the Yankees are on the opposite side
11:35to make only a $2 difference in that overall price point and I really like
11:39the Baltimore Orioles and again it's on their management group because sometimes
11:42it's let's just say neither one makes a move here you're probably the Orioles
11:46actually like that a little bit more but we know the Yankees and their history
11:49particularly under the great George Steinbrenner who's a get me the best
11:52three pitchers on the market I don't care what the price is let's make sure
11:56we win another World Series we'll see how these teams react but it's fun that
11:59we're asking this question this week because I know once we hit August 1st
12:03we're gonna answer the same questions again because some of these teams are
12:06gonna look quite different down the backstretch and Donnie I think that's a
12:10great great point because right now those four teams that we have mentioned
12:14nobody picked the Dodgers but we alluded to LA of course in the contention for
12:18the NL pennant the Dodgers the World Series favorites plus 320 the Phil's
12:22behind by only a buck plus 420 the Yankees plus 550 the O's a seven to one
12:27number those four teams grouped by less than a four dollar distinction so we
12:33know that the Major League Baseball postseason in the expanded era has been
12:37chaotic we saw two wild-card teams last year that came in sixth in the standings
12:43those final wild-card spots play for a World Series the Rangers over the
12:48Diamondbacks but to Donnie's point the next time the odds really move
12:52drastically will be in a trade and regardless of what the trade deadline
12:58holds in MLB I would still say unless things go haywire for any of these four
13:04clubs and I mean in a drastic way that the Dodgers Phillies Yankees and Orioles
13:10DRS will enter October will enter the postseason with the four best prices to
13:15win a World Series so you're not missing out on value necessarily at this moment
13:21sure things can be chaotic throughout that postseason bracket but I still
13:24believe in this big four if you will in the Braves just behind being there atop
13:29the odds board by the time we get to the end of 162 correct and you're also
13:34because the odds aren't going to change dramatically as you said which is right
13:38but your opinion could be able to change like what if I told you today Ben like
13:41you know what the Orioles and the Yankees are the two best teams and a
13:44trade deadline night 15 minutes before the deadline hits the Baltimore was
13:48wind up with Tarek scuba as if he gets moved from the Tigers that's going to
13:52change my opinion on this and I would say you know what Ben you were exactly
13:56correct at that point now the Orioles are the best team here so you're looking
14:00at maybe one player on one of these teams shifting over of who I think is
14:04going to win the World Series or get to the World Series it could be that way
14:08yeah and Donnie I think it's spot-on with the Yankees as well from the odds
14:12assessment the Yanks were the best team in baseball on June 14th nearly 30 games
14:17above 500 the first of 50 wins at 50 and 22 in the last month just 8 and 18
14:23but don't take Donnie's word for it or our assessment of the pinstripes still
14:28the third best price to win the World Series and the best price to win the
14:32American League pennant now a team to watch who has your eye Donnie throughout
14:36this stretch run team to watch here and there's a lot of different ways you can
14:40anticipate this maybe the team to watch if they're gonna be sellers at the
14:43deadline maybe it's a team that's gonna be buyers at the deadline I simply went
14:46with the Texas Rangers and I talked about it two weeks ago give me a team
14:49with the pedigree and the talent to win a world championship but also give me a
14:53price point that suggests they might not even make it into the playoffs at this
14:57point so a team to watch for me is the Texas Rangers thinking they can win the
15:01World Series I'm not so sure but I do think that a OS is gonna be so tight
15:06down the stretch that with two weeks to go in the season the Rangers are gonna
15:09be in the thick of it and it's not as if they're having a 12 to 1 15 to 1 or 20
15:13to 1 price point to win this year's World Series it's 60 to 1 now it was 80
15:17to 1 about a week and a half to two weeks ago at this point so I'll be
15:20watching the Rangers to see how we react because that team is way too talented not
15:25to finish over 500 Donnie will show our playoff best bets in a moment but that's
15:30the way I would attack things for Texas winners of seven of their last nine
15:34entering the break and of course the Astros the Rangers right now I'll be at
15:38four games below 500 have a better chance of winning the AL West only five
15:43games behind Seattle and they do of making the American League wildcard
15:47there's seven and a half games back in that component of the Red Sox who are my
15:52team to watch down the home stretch of this year Boston 11 games above 500 in
15:56the third and final American League wildcard spot but the Red Sox have
16:01played some great baseball in the last month I think they have a young and
16:05exciting offensive lineup Jaron Duran who just won of course the all-star
16:09game MVP Rafael Devers on a heater the last two weeks into the break and
16:14Tanner Houck is the ace for the Sox cutter Crawford has been great
16:19throughout this season for Boston as well I think Boston could be that
16:23wildcard team come October as we have seen the last few years that could make
16:28a little bit of noise and maybe cause a little bit of chaos more in our second
16:33up next live right here on this Thursday on the early line on SportsGrid just a
16:38couple of quick updates from the Open Championship Tiger bogeying his fourth
16:43hole the par 5 fourth now back to even birdie the third a long birdie putt
16:48bogeyed that par 5 fourth Brooks Koepka has gone birdie birdie he's back to even
16:54par after his fifth hole and Scottie Scheffler still remains one over par
16:59through his first two Patrick Cantlay playing alongside Tiger Woods made a
17:04long birdie putt on number four he's back to even Cantlay's caddy now is Joe
17:09Licava who was Tigers former caddy Tiger gave him his blessing to go find
17:13greener pastures because Woods wasn't playing nearly as much just an
17:17interesting wrinkle to that pairing all right we're one day away from the second
17:22half of the Major League Baseball season fully getting underway a full slate on
17:26Friday it's the final day to reset here at the all-star break we continue our
17:31second half projections and picks here in the MLB pick six we gave you a team
17:37to watch from a variety of components player to watch in the same way just a
17:42superstar to highlight or a player that might make the difference for their club
17:46who is that guy for you DRS yeah teased at the start the show somebody from the
17:51Atlanta Braves was like okay who's that going to be oh it's got to be you know
17:54Chris sale at the top of that rotation well there's another guy that's been
17:57dominant at the top of that rotation it's Rinaldo Lopez the reason I bring
18:01him up is the expectations for Lopez coming to the Atlanta Braves was just
18:05like a look-see yeah maybe I can be a fifth starter maybe can fit into our
18:09bullpen as a long relief guy he's turned into one of the better pitchers in Major
18:12League Baseball over the first half of the season if you get that same effort
18:16out of Rinaldo Lopez on the second half of the season along with Chris sale
18:19still being a dominant as he is that's a formidable one-two puncher that you
18:23weren't looking at before the season started at all you were hoping you were
18:26just gonna get innings possibly out of those two guys let alone maybe the best
18:30one-two punch technically outside of what at Nola and Wheeler in Philadelphia
18:34in the National League so I want to keep an eye on here on Rinaldo Lopez because
18:38if you get the same as I said performance expectations out of the
18:42first half they have in the second half and it carries over into the playoffs
18:45where now you line up with Chris sale with like a 2era and Lopez with like a
18:492era why not the Atlanta Braves now the reason I want to watch him is I don't
18:53know if he can hold up over the second half with the same expectations here and
18:57if he doesn't that's certainly gonna put a little bit of a wrinkle here in what
19:01you think the Atlanta Braves can do down the stretch but right now he's my player
19:04to watch because he's phenomenal the Braves have a legitimate chance to maybe
19:07try to do some damage in the playoffs a 1-8-8 era for Rinaldo Lopez that's the
19:14best in baseball he is the only guy with a sub 2-4 era at this moment the
19:19Braves now have the pitcher with the best era in baseball in the starter with
19:24the most wins Chris sale who is 13 and 3 that's all without Spencer Strider this
19:31year in small ball and pitching success has been the formula for Atlanta most
19:37unders in all of MLB 56 the only team around the bigs that has played more
19:42than 60% of their games to the under 62.2% DRS yesterday we looked at some of
19:48those potential buyers and sellers ahead of the trade deadline that comes
19:52our way in just over a week and a half and we looked at the Yankees the Orioles
19:56the Dodgers the Phillies and we highlighted for those first four teams
19:59probably going after another starter or a bullpen guy to add to the rotation for
20:05Atlanta it's probably trying to get one of those big bats on the market as of
20:09this moment one of those big bats in the first half Bobby Witt jr. the 280 million
20:14dollar man for the Kansas City Royals and all-star of course featuring in that
20:20home run derby final to tay Oscar Hernandez I expect Bobby Witt jr. to
20:24continue what he has done here in the second half he is one of the bright
20:28young stars in all of the sport that will be on display and we have our
20:33kindred ties DRS to KC the pass watch Vinny Pasquantino your guy Michael
20:39Massey Bobby Witt jr. leading the way for the Royals the Royals only two and a
20:44half games back or two games back rather of that third and final wildcard
20:48spot in the American League Kansas City 52 and 45 makes me very happy it's one
20:54of my two preseason bets from a win total perspective entering this major
20:58league baseball season the Royals over 73 and a half wins very much on pace
21:04courtesy of Bobby Witt jr. just to name a few absolutely and certainly he is
21:09going to be the catalyst there he's been absolutely look sometimes it's hard to
21:13say we talk about Caitlyn Clark exceeding expectations how could that
21:16happen like Bobby Witt jr. wasn't like hey man my father used to play in Major
21:19League Baseball and everything's fine I just want to make that no he is
21:21sensational he's paid like a superstar and how about this Ben for the Royals to
21:26pay that much money for a player you damn well know he's a really good player
21:31and they can't miss prospect and it is going to be interesting to see if he can
21:34single him that's not fair to say because Salvador Perez they got some
21:37good players in there but it feels like catalyst for that engine on that Royals
21:41team is Bobby Witt jr. he continues to dominate they're probably gonna make the
21:45playoffs which is saying something for Kansas City yeah yeah now and beyond for
21:49KC for sure a young core that maybe reminds of the 2015 Royals so we shared
21:56this earlier Aaron judge minus 370 to win the AL MVP Shohei Ohtani minus 380
22:01to win the National League MVP we asked will both of those guys win the MVP
22:07hardware I said yes Donnie said no DRS if you don't believe that both judge and
22:13Ohtani will win the MVP awards who unseats him I don't know who unseats him
22:18I'm just betting on like an injury at that point just to put the no because it
22:22seems too easy for two guys to cruise no we still have all of August and all
22:25September to go as if you can't get injured or have a slump that's the only
22:29reason I won't know right now if the season ends today yes they're gonna walk
22:32away with the MDPs but we still got a lot of games left to go a lot of
22:36struggles and maybe an IL stint or two that's why I'm voting no right there
22:40all right fair enough I guess injury is the guy to unseat both Shohei Ohtani and
22:46Aaron judge I think we're getting close to when that market would be available
22:50can you bet both Shohei Ohtani and Aaron judge no cannot be combined but minus
22:55370 Aaron judge versus the field Shohei Ohtani minus 380 what is your best award
23:01bet as we continue here in the pick six if the Phillies continue to win at the
23:06same clip they have and clinch the number one overall seed in the National
23:10League manager the year Rob Thompson at a plus money price at a 125 makes the
23:15most sense for me at this point so you're taking a look at expectations yes
23:18for high for the Philadelphia Phillies but also expectations were high for a
23:22couple other ball clubs out there the Phillies are exceeding expectations
23:26right now with the best start in their franchise history they could wind up
23:29with the most wins in their franchise history and that's a plus money number
23:33give me Rob Thompson even money right now on Pat Murphy the first year skipper
23:38for the Milwaukee Brewers but just 25 cents back is Rob Thompson I would have
23:43to agree Donnie I think there is a good bet there on Thompson if the Phil's are
23:47the best team in baseball putting up historic numbers Rob Thompson might get
23:51the edge over the rookie skipper we'll go around Major League Baseball next on
23:55TTL tell me those mics were hot please go back on the YouTube stream and figure
24:01out if those my that's a shame Donnie right side always trying to get in one
24:05last zinger before we come back so Rob Thompson Donnie's award bet of the
24:10second half of this MLB campaign mine is what we had in the preseason Tarek
24:16scuba to win the American League Cy Young Award he was 10 to 1 before the
24:20year now an odds-on minus money favorite at minus 130 and frankly it's a two-arm
24:26race in the American League it's scuba or it's Corbin Burns Logan Gilbert has
24:31moved up 10 to 1 Seth Lugo at 18 to 1 but there's only two guys with a
24:36three-digit price scuba at minus 130 Burns at 3 to 1 and we said Donnie
24:41earlier on it's compelling race because Corbin Burns could be the ace of the
24:45staff for the American League's best team when all is said and done the Tigers
24:49are playing better baseball Detroit has won eight of its last 11 games entering
24:53the break but we don't necessarily expect the Tigers to be a playoff team
24:57when all is said and done so normally team success correlates to individual
25:02success but because individuals also have their own win-loss metric for a
25:07starting pitcher in scuba was 10 and 3 on the bump this year with the second
25:11best ERA in baseball at 2 4 1 I expect him to win the American League Cy Young
25:16Award yeah look the trajectory point is there and also keep in mind he does
25:21pitch in a very pitcher friendly ballpark in the majority of the starts
25:24which again would be at home that's something to keep an eye on no slowing
25:27him down we don't have any ideas where we take a look at Paul Skeen's being
25:31shut down at the end of the season if Detroit's a bad tease bad team excuse me
25:35those shut down scuba well that's not gonna happen whole pitch all the way
25:37through don't worry about the winds here as long as you give honest effort each
25:40time out he has every right to win that award he is a phenomenal pitcher yeah he
25:46absolutely is as our producer Joe Friso just texted me maybe the only thing
25:50home with Oldenback scuba as if the Phil's are the Dodgers trying to trade
25:53for him at the trade deadline I would not expect Detroit to trade away
25:58Tarek scuba if they did oh man everybody in the Motor City should be ashamed and
26:03incredibly mad our final pick of the pick six our playoff best bet what is
26:10yours the RS yeah it's gonna be the Boston Red Sox I told you it's my team
26:14that I've been watching for quite some time and I love to bet on this team
26:17they're getting starting pitching and dominant starting pitching for guys you
26:20probably didn't anticipate being a great starting pitcher here in 2024
26:24number two that young lineup which is bolstered by Raphael Devers having a
26:28sensational season we didn't expect much from that young lineup and they are
26:31producing on a night-to-night basis case in point did you watch the all-star game
26:35Duran is the leadoff hitter and he's smashing home runs in the all-star game a
26:38lot of speed on the base past or a fun team to watch so I'm gonna watch them
26:42and my favorite bet to make the playoffs at a minus 114 price this team coming
26:48out of spring training not a ton of expectations what's gonna happen we
26:52don't know those expectations right now as a team that's playing you know
26:55double-digits over 500 right now phenomenal I expect even better things
26:59in the second half of the season which means Boston Red Sox ownership you're in
27:03a massive market with a rabid frenzy fan base they're paying a lot of money to
27:08watch you play go out and spend some money at that deadline and help this
27:12team make the playoffs the Houston Astros my playoff best bet as well but
27:17not to make the postseason at minus 160 to win the American League West they're
27:21only one game back it's their best component there is a smaller gap from
27:25Houston for the first place spot in their division than there is behind the
27:29Red Sox three and a half games to be even the third American League wild card
27:33team Donnie if I would have told you that both Seattle and Houston were each
27:3812 and 13 games above 500 and there was only a one-game lead at the break for
27:43Seattle in front of Houston the Astros would be a minus money favorite it's
27:47because the Astros are only four games above 500 and they struggled so mightily
27:51this year 33 and 14 on June 18th the fork was out it was in the Astros they
27:57were cooked they were well done done no longer the fork is gone Houston's going
28:02to win the American League West
