00:28Like many of you last week, I watched with horror as the events unfolded in that Pennsylvania
00:34field.
00:36I saw President Trump, a dear friend, escape death by mere inches.
00:42And my thoughts immediately turned to the book of Isaiah that says, no weapon formed
00:49against you shall prosper.
00:54Well, let me tell you the weapons that they used.
01:01First, they tried to ruin his reputation, and he's more popular now than ever.
01:11And then they tried to bankrupt him, and he's got more money now than he had before.
01:21And then they tried to put him in prison, and he's freer and has made other people free
01:27with him.
01:28And then last weekend, they tried to kill him.
01:34And there he is over there, alive and well.
01:42You know, I have no doubt that God lowered a shield of protection over President Trump.
02:09And I join millions of Americans in thanksgiving for President Trump's safety.
02:15And I encourage you to join me in praying each day for his continued protection.
02:21You know, our hearts go out to the victims in the audience.
02:27Let's also pray for them and their families.
02:29These events have brought unusual clarity to the times we are living in.
02:37We have all harbored the nagging feeling that everything we love is slipping away.
02:44All you have to do is turn on the television.
02:47The free press, a pillar of any free society, has abused the public trust and resorted to
02:55lies, deception, and disinformation.
03:01They divide us along lines of race, class, and gender, rather than uniting us around
03:09our shared bond as Americans.
03:12Our government has been no better, shredding our Constitution and upending the rule of law.
