Atlanta gies into this football season with a veteran QB, a promising rookie, and a new head coach. What futures bets are Nick and Ken eye for the Falcons?

00:00this offseason, I, I could see myself buying Atlanta pretty
00:04tremendously, like I pretty in on them. If I get a fully
00:08healthy cousins. Now, what does that mean? I think for me, what
00:11it means is, like, they're not the vulnerable favorite, which
00:15we kind of thought maybe they were their favorite to win the
00:17division. I compared them to the Saints last year, where it's
00:20like, oh, the easy schedule team with the nine nine and a half
00:22win total that isn't actually that good. And in the next
00:26segment, maybe I can explain like some updated, like, kind
00:28of handicapping technique stuff that I did the last couple weeks.
00:31That's been really fun. Atlanta. I'm more on Atlanta than I
00:35thought. I'm more definitely more in on them than I was a few
00:38months ago. And just the way that I would look at them is
00:41like a worthy favorite, not a team that I'm like dying to bet
00:45on at a low price to win their division or minus favorite to
00:48win the division. I don't want to bet the other three teams.
00:50Now I'm perfectly comfortable looking at an NFC South odds
00:55board, seeing Atlanta at that price and saying either maybe I
00:58want to bet on them if it drifts a little too low, or I'm
01:01totally okay with that being the price for them.
01:03I'm curious if you agree with what I'm going to say now, which
01:05is like, Atlanta, I think is a worthy favorite, like Atlanta
01:08should be favorite to win the division doesn't mean I would
01:10bet them, but the Atlanta should obviously be the favorite to
01:12win the division Tampa won it last year. I think we can all
01:15say Atlanta is better than Tampa, right? Atlanta minus 120
01:18Tampa plus 300 New Orleans plus 375. The Panthers 11 to one.
01:23That's currently on our screen right now. Thank you to our guy,
01:25Mike Brown. And I think if I were to bet the NFC South can
01:28I would actually look at the team first on the odds board,
01:31Atlanta, or the team last on the odds board, the Carolina
01:35Panthers at 11 to one with the thought being Dave can Alice
01:38goes from coordinating the offense in Tampa where he like
01:41resuscitated Baker Mayfield his career, he goes to Carolina to
01:44fix Bryce Young, more weapons for Bryce Young in year two,
01:48big time additions, financial additions in the interior of the
01:51offensive line, which is important because you know,
01:53Bryce Young's my size. And if Carolina can hit and Bryce Young
01:57looks like the quarterback can that you and I both not the
01:59weird, you know, Todd McShay or whatever thought he was in
02:02Alabama. I think Carolina would be like, if I'm not gonna bet
02:06Atlanta, I would actually bet Carolina before I bet Tampa or
02:09New Orleans.
02:10Yeah, I think some other conclusions all tie together
02:13those two teams here real quick. Did a little more work on coach
02:16of the year. Just when I say like, what do you mean you did a
02:19little more work on it? I thought about it a little more
02:22and I don't I don't think about coach of the year every day. I
02:24don't think about it every week during this time of the year.
02:26And I was doing all the other award stuff. And I did think a
02:29lot more about MVP and offensive player of the year, defense
02:31player, they're all that stuff. And like, look at coach of the
02:34year again. And I go like, if cousins is okay. Like it's, it's
02:39like too easy to see Raheem Morris winning this award. Like
02:41I actually think I would have him the most likely coach to win
02:44this award, maybe by a good margin right now. But if you're
02:48right, obviously canalis would be in that second group along
02:51with another team that I think you're going to talk about in
02:53the next segment, who I know you like who Jamie
