00:00I'm here at Park Grove Crescent in Clermiston where locals were left
00:04baffled when council resurfacing works came to their street to fix the
00:10potholes that people were concerned about here but as you can see here
00:15wherever there was a car parked they just walked around it instead of waiting
00:19for the car to be moved. It's left several patches like this on the
00:23Clermiston Street looking rather unsightly and some locals are rather angry about it.
00:30Local residents told me that although they were happy the road had been
00:34resurfaced as it had had a lot of potholes previously they were surprised
00:37to see the patches of untreated road and they were hoping that council workers
00:41will return to finish their work as soon as possible. The council's transport and
00:46environment convener councillor Scott Arfor told Even News that properties
00:50were given three to four weeks notice and that all properties were sent
00:54leaflets three to four days before work was carried out. He also said that the
00:59contractor will be returning to complete the unsurfaced areas in due course.
