00:11Yes, Varsha. First of all, congratulations to you for winning 2nd rank all over the country.

00:16And how did you start preparing, how much effort did you put in, how many hours did you study?

00:21First of all, thank you very much.

00:23I started preparing with the article of my CA final.

00:29In the beginning, I used to take 3-3 hours of regular classes.

00:36Online classes?

00:37Yes, all online classes.

00:39And when I got my study leave, I used to study 8-10 hours a day.

00:46And in the end, 1-1.5 months, 12-14 hours.

00:51That's how much I used to study.

00:53When did you start preparing, and what were the challenges you faced?

01:01I started preparing in November-December, 2021.

01:08Sometimes, I used to have a lot of office work, so I couldn't attend lectures.

01:15Sometimes, I used to feel sad that I wasn't able to maintain consistency.

01:21But then, CA Joinee taught me how to manage things.

01:27How to manage studies, and how to manage my office.

01:31So, by doing this, I was able to complete my lectures.

01:37In 2021, you started preparing.

01:40At that time, there was COVID-19 as well.

01:43I went through COVID-19 for 22-23 days.

01:45There were many waves of COVID-19.

01:47How did you manage your time?

01:50Did you feel scared to go out?

01:53In 2021, when I started preparing, I had an articleship.

02:00So, they gave me a work-from-home.

02:02So, I think I worked from home till April.

02:06At that time, there was a wave of COVID-19 in January as well.

02:10But after that, COVID-19 decreased.

02:15So, I started working from home to office.

02:19How long did you work in the office?

02:22And how did you manage your time in the office?

02:24I used to work for 8 hours in the office.

02:27Sometimes, during peak season, I used to work for 12-13 hours.

02:34So, I had to manage that.

02:36If office work was more important, I had to concentrate on that.

02:40But when I had time, I used to study.

02:43Did you do self-study or did you get coaching online or offline?

02:47I did self-study for 2 subjects.

02:50And I got coaching for 4 subjects.

02:52Which subjects did you study?

02:56Which subject was tough for you?

02:59I took coaching for FR, AFM, IDT and Audit.

03:07I took direct-tax from Vinod Gupta Sir's lectures on YouTube.

03:13I took Bhava Sir's book as well.

03:16And I took IBS as a last subject.

03:20What else did you ask?

03:24Which subjects did you study?

03:31I took direct-tax and IBS.

03:35I took coaching for other subjects.

03:38Which subject was tough for you?

03:42I found Audit tough as it was more theoretical.

03:46We had to revise a lot of things.

03:51So, it was challenging.

03:53But I managed till the end.

03:56How did you decide to become a CA?

04:03When I was in graduation, my friends were doing CA.

04:08They had a lot of knowledge about finance.

04:13So, I talked to them.

04:15I got to know about career options and career opportunities.

04:19So, I became more interested in this.

04:22Where did you graduate from?

04:24I did graduation from Indraprasth College for Women, Delhi University.

04:28In which year did you graduate?

04:30I graduated in 2019.

04:32And I got a rank 1 in B.Com Honours.

04:36How did your family support you?

04:41They supported me a lot.

04:44Whenever I got demotivated, I used to talk to my parents.

04:49I used to talk to my sister.

04:51They always motivated me.

04:53Whenever I used to face any problem in my studies,

04:57they used to listen to me.

05:04They always encouraged me to move ahead.

05:09Whatever happens, we are with you.

05:11What does your sister do?

05:13She is doing her PhD from IIT, Delhi.

05:16How did you come to know about your second rank?

05:21Did you expect to get a second rank or first rank?

05:25What was your expectation?

05:27What was the result?

05:29I got a call from the president of ICICI.

05:36He told me that I got a second rank.

05:39I got 80% marks.

05:41Then I got a call from the vice president.

05:44Then I got a call from the council member, Raj Chawla.

05:47My expectation was that I will clear my first attempt.

05:51But I didn't think that I will get a second rank.

05:55You didn't think that you will get a second rank.

05:59You thought that you will clear your first attempt and you will get a second rank.

06:02I wanted to get a second rank.

06:06But I didn't think that I will get a second rank.

06:11How long did your daily study last?

06:15I studied for 12-14 hours.

06:18But normally I study for 8-10 hours.

06:21What are your plans for the future?

06:24What is your career?

06:27I will look for opportunities.

06:31I will work in the corporate sector.
