00:04about the character all there in the script? How do you prepare?

00:06You know what? I was really ready to go down a comic book rabbit hole, but I think I'm

00:11right in saying Cassandra's character's quite sporadic throughout the comics, so I emailed

00:14Sean and I was like, what's the deal here? Could someone gather them for me because I

00:19don't know where to start finding these? And he was like, you know what? I think you'll

00:22find it's all in the script, which I think was quite a brave and I'm quite grateful for

00:27that take on it, yeah.

00:28Did it give you a lot of freedom to kind of add your own spin on to whatever existed

00:31too?

00:31Yeah, I think that's why they sort of wanted to do something quite original with Cassandra's

00:35character within this universe, because it's kind of a world on its own that they've created.

00:40Obviously I imagine this is your first time collaborating with Ryan and Hugh as well.

00:44Can you tell us what you learnt about those two from working with them that we as mere

00:48mortals might not know?

00:50Hugh Jackman loves a little show tune in the morning while he's getting hair and make-up

00:55done, which I loved. Ryan Reynolds, what did I learn about Ryan Reynolds? He is as

01:02funny as he comes across, yeah. The jokes are there and they're always top notch, yeah.

01:10When the idea of this project comes to you, a lot of audiences will know you from many

01:15different projects, but this is a big, big budget film, an R-rated budget film. Was it

01:19an automatic guess or were there some components that you needed to know beforehand?

01:24Well, it's hard because with Marvel stuff, they don't give you much information, so I

01:29didn't really know much about who they wanted me for, etc. And then I met Sean Levy, who's

01:38the most enthusiastic person in the world and I'm positive could sell me absolutely

01:42anything and I'd buy it. And as soon as he started pitching it, I was like, yeah, I'm

01:45in. Take everything. I'm in.
