00:11But we're still at the Acropolis to have another little chat to the band.
00:14I've got Christian, our contest winner here as well, and actually Christian's got a question for Man O' War.
00:19Yeah, Man O' War, I know you are our fans, but how does it feel to break the world records?
00:25It feels wonderful to finally show the world that we are truly and only the official loudest band in the world.
00:33Congratulations.
00:35We love it. Thank you.
00:36Did you have a good day, Rhino?
00:38Absolutely fantastic. All I could think of was the earthquake in LA.
00:42I think we had a little more power there than the earthquake itself.
00:47It just felt like the whole building was going to fall apart.
00:50Brilliant. Well, congratulations to all of you. That's fantastic.
00:53I've got a question for you, actually.
00:55Do you feel that, in this day and age, your crusade against false metal is more relevant than it's ever been before?
01:06Yeah, I really think it is because the audience that we have is really starting to grow and grow and grow.
01:12And I think the reason for it is because there's so much music out there that's called metal that's not heavy.
01:17And there are so many musicians out there who aren't musicians.
01:20A lot of these bands think that the fans are stupid.
01:23They know the difference between somebody like him that can really sing and somebody who can't sing.
01:29And don't get me wrong. I love speed. I love thrash. I love power metal.
01:34But there's a whole difference between a band that plays songs and contacts with their audience.
01:39And that's what those fans are over there singing all about.
01:41Can we have a look at the band? Make some noise.

01:54OK, well, we've got another question, actually.
01:57Also, maybe Eric, as a front person...

02:06You see what I'm saying? They're out of control.
02:08He broke the record for the loudest Metal War shout. He did.

02:16I think that these days there's not so much entertainment as well.
02:21When I watch a Man of War show, it's entertaining to watch.
02:25Do you think that there's a lack of actual bands going out to actually entertain as well?
02:29Well, I don't know about other bands. I can tell you about Man of War, though.
02:32We get up there and we prepare ourselves for the show.
02:34We psych ourselves up for the show.
02:36And we can't wait to get out on that stage and be the most powerful band that anybody has ever witnessed.
02:41When you go to a Man of War show, you feel the substance.
02:46And that is entertaining.
02:48OK, well, let's go back to some more entertainment.

03:12We are going to talk to the guys a few more moments before we sign off from Athens.
03:16And, of course, Headbangers Ball has been presenting the Agony and Ecstasy tour right across Europe over the last two and a half months.
03:22The guys have been touring in support of the box set, Secrets of Steel.
03:26And I was just really going to say that you didn't have a new record to tour on, Eric.
03:32Was this really to create re-awareness of the band to go for a springboard for the next album?
03:38Well, actually, the reason we came out here was because the fans that we didn't get to see last time wanted to see the band.
03:43And so we decided, listen, half the tour was over.
03:46It's time to come back out and finish this tour before we go on to another project.
03:49And that's why we're here.
03:50And it's certainly been your most successful ever tour in Europe, hasn't it?
03:54You've just been selling out venues all over the place.
03:56All over the place, everywhere we go.
03:58It's a great crowd.
03:59And that's what makes the band play a little better, because the crowd really reacts.
04:02And then we react right back to the crowd.
04:04It's incredible.
04:05And I guess, Joey, you've got this momentum going from the live concerts.
04:09Are you going to carry that on through to the writing and recording of your new album?
04:14Or are you going to take a break and then get into it?
04:16How are you going to work from now?
04:18Energy is the thing.
04:19You're right.
04:20We've got to keep this good energy flowing.
04:21As soon as we get done with this tour, we're going to get right back in the studio and burn another new record that is just going to fry the hair out of you.
04:29Well, I'm going to look forward to that, for sure.
04:31And also, I was going to ask you if Rhino and Dave are going to be contributing more to the songwriting,
04:38because I know Dave contributed to some songs on the previous album, Triumph of Steel.
04:43So is it going to be more of a band effort on the songwriting?
04:47It really always has been.
04:48A lot of people don't understand that the process of Manowar is it's four band members and four brothers
04:54against the world in our fight against nothing.
04:57It's just the way it is.
04:58It's the four of us and our fans, our own little army, kicking ass all over the world.
05:03Brilliant.
05:04Okay, well, let's just have a final word with Christian,
05:06because I want to say that Christian has been a true metal brother this weekend.
05:11He's been stage diving.
05:13He's been brilliant.

05:32Yes, I'm going to kill myself a turkey during turkey season first.
05:36And then we'll go right into the studio and start working on the next album.
05:39All our concentration will be on that next album.
05:41So we'll kick some serious ass then.
05:43And I want you to do something for me.
05:45I'm sure lots of other fans out there in Europe.
05:47Manowar, you've got to make us a really fantastic video.
