00:00DTI shut down a warehouse in Valenzuela that was sold for almost 8 million Pesos worth of registered products.

00:10The goods were stolen, disgraced and burned, especially those that did not pass the proper inspection.

00:21The work in this warehouse in Valenzuela City was stopped

00:24when the people of the Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau of the Department of Trade and Industry

00:30along with the Business Permits and Licensing Office of the City of Valenzuela suddenly arrived.

00:34The DPLO shut down the warehouse

00:37after it was found that the goods were stolen when they first operated it last week.

00:42Last June 26, we gave them a last warning to submit to us again.

00:47The surprised employees went out and took off their clothes.

00:52We lost a lot of jobs.

00:54We just gave up everything.

00:56It's heavy.

01:09DTI only claimed one product

01:12but they were surprised when they went to this warehouse

01:23It did not pass the proper testing of the Bureau of Philippine Standards.

01:27Their quality is substandard.

01:30It did not pass the standard certification of the Bureau of Philippine Standards.

01:45Nearly 10,000 uncertified products worth P7.8 million were rejected.

02:00The authorities said that the products were imported

02:03but the warehouse refused to pay for them

02:06because they have local products.

02:15They were purchased locally.

02:17So we asked them if their items were really purchased locally.

02:23DTI once again reminded the authorities

02:25of the risks of uncertified products.

02:28That's why they urged the public to report the unregistered products.
