00:00Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio was one of those who called for the protection of the Masungi Geo-Reserve in Rizal Province.

00:07In an Instagram post, DiCaprio said that there is a threat to the protection of the Masungi Geo-Reserve

00:13because the Department of Environment and Natural Resources is planning to cancel the agreement on the protection of the area

00:20due to land grabbing.

00:21However, the cancellation of the agreement will be of no consequence to the successful conservation effort

00:27and it is possible for the development of trees and illegal developments in the area to be halted.

00:32According to the DNR, no one will not obey the law.

00:36Resort venues in the area are still against the law and are asking the public for their activities there.

00:43At the moment, joint venture agreements and supplemental agreements are being investigated

00:48for the government facilities in the area that were also signed by the officials of the Masungi Geo-Reserve Foundation.
