00:00The Senate should inform and invite the former cabinet official who was a godfather to Pogo, according to the Senate President.

00:08It was PAG-COR that violated that responsibility of an untitled personality.

00:14And Jonathan Andal is on the case.

00:18The Senate issued an alarm to PAG-COR this weekend

00:22that a former member of the Cabinet was a godfather to get a license from some illegal Pogo.

00:28No one was informed, so the Senate leader said,

00:31PAG-COR should be informed so that all other cabinet officials,

00:37former ranking cabinet officials, should be invited by the Senate.

00:42I have an idea, but I won't say it yet because we don't have concrete evidence.

00:49The committee will invite the current PAG-COR chairperson and his chairperson

00:56during the last administration.

00:58Due to the current PAG-COR,

01:00they are now cleaning the list of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators or POGO

01:04that they now call IGL or Internet Gaming Licensees.

01:08A POGO that was removed by PAG-COR for violating the Terms of License was proven.

01:16The license of the other three POGOs was suspended

01:20due to minor violations and lack of requirements.

01:24So, there are only 42 active POGO licensees compared to 46 when the Marcos administration came in.

01:31But POGOs were not the only ones to be reduced based on the list of POGO licensees in the country.

01:36Compared to the previous administration,

01:38hundreds of service providers were also removed by the PERMIT

01:42after they were informed of what was wrong according to PAG-COR.

01:46But even less, more people are collecting their pay now compared to the previous administration.

01:53This is because of the monthly admin fee that did not increase.

01:56As well as the guarantee fee,

01:58the earnings from the service providers of POGO

02:01and the earnings from the special class BPO of POGO or their call center.

02:07PAG-COR is expecting this year that they will be able to collect 6.5 billion pesos

02:12from the IGL and the remaining service providers.
