This world's huge oceans are dotted with many islands. Some of the islands, though, were far darker than the others. To everyone but the most lucky and strong, those islands, also called the Nightmare Islands, were actual nightmares. The Nightmare Palace abducted children and dumped them on these desolate islands, where they were made to make soul deals with demonic soul pets: Fears.To get stronger, these devils gradually ate their trainers' souls. The children's souls will be completely consumed if they did not mature quickly enough, leaving behind nothing but an empty shell. The main character, Chu Mu, was an heir to the Chu Clan until he was cast onto the island as a result of a planned mu*der, nearly certain death.He danced on the brink of death, fighting for his life with a little Moonlight Fox he had captured. Upon ultimately escaping the demonic foremen on his island, he was compelled to exhale. He has no idea, though, that this was just the start of his destined trip with his tiny Moonlight Fox.
