00:00Hi I'm Liberty, I'm here with NME, we're at Glastonbury 2024 and I'm here with Max
00:10Golfer. Tell us a little bit about the Peace Stage. Well the Peace Stage is an amazing
00:16cultural hub for musical diversity and diversity of all kinds with a strong message of peace
00:23using music and art as a tool for expression and using it as a place where we can use that
00:33art in order to share a message that is bigger than just what's happening on stage. The design
00:39is cool as fuck, it's sort of in a kind of abandoned mall kind of vibe going on, you
00:45know anti-consumerist, anti-capitalist kind of vibe, again all tying in with this message
00:50of various political movements and various sort of ideas of trying to push, well, peace.
00:57On here we've kind of got everything from funk to punk, rock to folk to sort of African
01:04music to reggae and everything in between, you know, and that's a real core part of the
01:10message as well is bringing lots of different communities together in order to show the
01:17people here at Glastonbury the amazing cultural diversity at this festival and particularly
01:24the Peace Stage.
