00:00The District of Joy, dedicated to the themes of the LGBTQIA plus universe,
00:05was entirely designed and produced by Serravalle Designer Outlet,
00:10taking place from June 24 to 30 in the Porta Romana district of Milan.
00:15On the evening of June 26, the main event of the week of activities and events,
00:20a musical live show, of which Loredana Bertè was the protagonist.
00:25The District of Joy has very deep roots within the urban Milanese fabric.
00:30Serravalle Designer Outlet, in fact, already since 2022,
00:33has decided to invest in the area of Parco Ravizza
00:36and has carried out a project of urbanism and urban regeneration
00:40on an area of more than 2,000 square meters,
00:43with a street art work curated by Luca Font,
00:46work that also allowed us to install a totally inclusive workout area.
00:50In 2023, last year, a very important musical party was held
00:55within the same area of Parco Ravizza.
00:58At the height of the success of the two initiatives,
01:01The District of Joy arrives in 2024,
01:04which wants to have, compared to the previous ones, an even broader ambition.
01:08We have set ourselves the goal of confirming the partnership with Milano Pride
01:12and, of course, to have the sponsorship of the Municipality of Milan,
01:15but in the same year, we have also decided
01:18to expand the audience and we were able to bring on board
01:21other territorial partners that I thank.
01:24Territorial partners such as the Santeria,
01:27ArciBellezza, the Museo e il Magazzini della Musica,
01:30the IGEA library and the Bocconi University,
01:33which I thank very much for their support.
01:36Together with these partners, we obviously invite you to participate in all the events.
01:40Events that will have a common denominator,
01:43that is, the enhancement of urbanism,
01:46that is, the enhancement of inclusion, freedom and kindness.
01:50The initiative strengthens the connection
01:53of the center of the group Me Cartur Glen with the city of Milan.
01:56Tonight is a night of party, of music,
01:59but also of an all-Milanese culture of alliance between the public and the private.
02:03Serravalle Outlet helped us to build this palazzo,
02:08which is part of the largest palazzo followed by the Assessorato alla Cultura Milano e Viva.
02:13This event was built together with the administration.
02:17We are at Parco Ravizza, which is a place that the administration wants to enhance.
02:22We talk about inclusion with a quality event,
02:26because we are a proud city to be able to welcome everyone, to want to welcome everyone.
02:34Inclusion is a value to keep in mind all year round.
02:38These events certainly make you want to invest in other projects,
02:44like those of today, this evening and this week,
02:47which are important and must always be supported, but not only this week.
