As Liverpool have relied on their bigger names to get them across the line in previous seasons under manager Jurgen Klopp, a few players’ Liverpool future remain in question, so who’s the priority and what do the club need to prioritise ahead of the new campaign?

00:00Yeah and obviously in terms of the big hitters say you know those players
00:04under Jürgen Klopp who got them all the way over the line and in terms of
00:07winning the Premier League winning the Champions League and many trophies as
00:10well like you know you Salah, Alisson, Van Dijk, Trent, Andy Robertson as well
00:16as you know these are these top top senior players still around the club
00:20what's the situation with a few of them they're probably gonna get few links
00:24with Saudi Arabia you know come the main bulk of this window how
00:30important is it that a lot of those players remain at the club for
00:34Arnie Schlott's first season? Yeah it is I think stability is needed when you've
00:39got a new manager and you know new bathroom staff in place you don't want
00:42new players coming in as well really and having to play catch-up almost really
00:48you know you know Arnie Schlott I don't think he's you know he's not gonna change an
00:52awful lot he will change some things and that's that's only natural but
00:57yeah to have Van Dijk there who's obviously the bedrock of the team and it is
01:02important Mo Salah looks like he'll be staying what comes with his contract
01:08next summer we don't know his contract then so it's Virgil van Dijk and maybe
01:12Saudi Arabia might be an option for Mo Salah next summer but come out on
01:16social media pretty quickly after the season finished and says oh go again
01:20next year and quite a facet really for Mo Salah to do that to lay his cards out
01:24so I don't think he'd do that unless you think right I'm staying at the club
01:28Trent Alexander-Arnold is an interesting one because he's another one who's
01:33out of contract next summer and you know Brett Inbred I'm not sure if he's been linked with
01:38but he's a future captain at Liverpool and you think out of the three to be
01:43quite frank he'll be the one that you want to keep. Trent Alexander-Arnold still
01:46isn't really in his peak years yet he's still improving and still gonna go on
01:51as you say Andy Robertson's part of that leadership team. Alisson Becker's an interesting one
01:55because he had been linked to Saudi Arabia and you look at the goalkeeping
02:01situation it's not ideal for Alisson to be honest with you because he's losing
02:06number three actually in hockey and number three goalkeeper's not an absolute disaster
02:10but Kovine Keller as well his future's uncertain because he said he wants to go
02:15out and play rugby or football so you're gonna have to go and maybe get another number two now
02:22and so you're not gonna lose Alisson I mean the only way you lose Alisson is if
02:26you keep Keller and make him the number one and say right we're planning for the future but I don't
02:31think they're quite gonna do that yeah Alisson's only 31 so he's got several
02:34years left as a goalkeeper and yeah Andy Robertson obviously had his injury
02:40last season but he ends the season in really good form and you would like to think he'll
02:47have to bit between his teeth next season to keep his spot because he'll know that now
02:52he's 30 eventually the pool will start looking for his long-term success as well
02:57but he'll want to keep that bear for as long as possible
