Al Imran (Arabic: آل عِمْرَانَ, āl ʿimrān; meaning: The Family of Imran[1][2]) is the third chapter (sūrah) of the Quran with two hundred verses (āyāt).

This chapter is named after the family of Imran (Joachim), which includes Imran, Saint Anne (wife of Imran), Mary, and Jesus.[citation needed]

Regarding the timing and contextual background of the asbāb al-nuzūl or circumstances of revelation, the chapter is believed to have been either the second or third of the Medinan surahs, as it references both the events of the battles of Badr and Uhud. Almost all of it also belongs to the third Hijri year, though a minority of its verses might have been revealed during the visit of the deputation of the Christian community of Najran at the event of the mubahala, which occurred around the 10th year of the Hijrah.[1]

00:00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
00:00:06Alif Lam Mim
00:00:14Allah, there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting
00:00:23He has sent down to you the Book with truth, confirming that which is before it, and He has sent down the Torah and the Gospel
00:00:40Before that, as guidance for mankind, and He has sent down the Qur'an
00:00:48Indeed, those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah, for them is a severe punishment, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Possessor of Revenge
00:01:04Indeed, to Allah does not conceal anything in the earth or in the heaven. He it is Who forms you in the wombs as He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise
00:01:31He it is Who has sent down to you the Book, from which are verses confirmed. They are the mother of the Book, and others are likewise
00:01:49But as for those in whose hearts is confusion, they follow that which is similar to it, seeking trial and seeking its interpretation
00:02:11And none knows its interpretation except Allah. And those firm in knowledge say, We have believed in it, each from our Lord
00:02:42Our Lord, do not remove our hearts after You have guided us and bestowed upon us mercy from Yourself. Indeed, You are the Bestower
00:03:03Our Lord, indeed, You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt. Indeed, Allah does not fail in the appointment
00:03:33nor are their children from Allah at all. And those are the fuel of the Fire
00:04:04And Allah is severe in punishment. Say to those who disbelieve, you will be overcome and gathered to Hell, and wretched is the resting place
00:04:26Indeed, there has been for you a sign in two groups, one fighting in the cause of Allah and another disbelieving, seeing them as they see the eye
00:04:50And Allah supports with His help whom He wills. Indeed in that is a lesson for those of insight
00:05:06Exalted is for the people the love of desires of women and children and the chickens of gold and silver and the horses that are fattened and the cattle and the war
00:05:34That is the enjoyment of the life of this world, and Allah with Him is the best of return
00:06:04And under them are rivers, abiding therein, and purified spouses and approval from Allah. And Allah is Seeing of the servants
00:06:34Indeed, We have believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from the punishment of the Fire
00:06:49Those who are patient and those who are truthful and those who are devout and those who spend and those who ask forgiveness in the mornings
00:07:19and those of knowledge, standing with justice. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. Indeed, the religion with Allah is Islam
00:07:39And those who were given the Scripture did not differ except after knowledge had come to them by mutual consent. And whoever disbelieves in the signs of Allah, then indeed, Allah is swift in reckoning
00:08:01So if they dispute with you, say, I have submitted my face to Allah and those who follow me. And say to those who were given the Scripture and the unlettered, have you submitted?
00:08:20And if they have submitted, then they have been guided, and if they turn away, then only upon you is the notification. And Allah is Seeing of the servants
00:08:50And they kill those who enjoin justice from among the people, so give them good tidings of a painful punishment. Those are the ones whose deeds have come to naught in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers
00:09:18Have you not considered those who were given a portion of the Scripture? They are called to the Scripture of Allah to judge between themselves. Then a party of them turns away and they turn away.
00:09:39That is because they say, the Fire will not touch us except for a few days. And He has deceived them in their religion that which they used to invent.
00:10:09And every soul will be paid in full for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.
00:10:39And you honor whom you will and you humiliate whom you will. In your hand is the best. Indeed, you are over all things competent.
00:11:07You make the night pass into the day and You make the day pass into the night. And You bring forth the living from the dead and You bring forth the dead from the living. And You provide for whom You will without account.
00:11:31The believers do not take the disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. And whoever does that, then there is not from Allah anything except that you fear from them righteousness.
00:11:57And Allah warns you of Himself. And to Allah is the destination.
00:12:28On the Day when every soul will find that which it has done of good brought forth and that which it has done of evil,
00:12:46they will wish that between them and Him was a distant place. And Allah warns you of Himself. And Allah is Merciful to the servants.
00:13:10Say, If you love Allah, then follow me. Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
00:13:31Say, Obey Allah and the Messenger. But if they turn away, then indeed, Allah does not like the disbelievers.
00:14:01Descendants, some of them from others. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
00:14:32And when she gave birth to her, she said, My Lord, indeed I gave birth to her as a female. And Allah is Knowing of what she gave birth to. And not the male like the female.
00:14:51And indeed, I named her Mary. And indeed, I seek refuge in her from you and her offspring from the accursed Satan.
00:15:06So her Lord accepted her with a goodly acceptance and brought forth for her a goodly plant. And He entrusted her with Zachariah.
00:15:21Whenever Zachariah entered upon her the sanctuary, he found with her provision. He said, O Mary, how is this for you? She said, It is from Allah.
00:15:44Indeed, Allah provides for whom He wills without reckoning.
00:15:54There Zachariah called upon his Lord. He said, My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are Hearing of supplication.
00:16:13So the angels called to him while he was standing, praying in the sanctuary, that Allah should give you good tidings of John, confirming a word from Allah and a master,
00:16:42and a guardian, and a prophet among the righteous. He said, My Lord, how can I have a son when I have reached old age and my wife is barren?
00:17:01He said, Thus does Allah do what He wills. He said, My Lord, make for me a sign. He said, Your sign is that you will not speak to the people for three days except as a sign.
00:17:23And remember your Lord much and exalt Him in the evening and the morning.
00:17:53O Mary, be obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow with those who bow.
00:18:23You were not with them when they disputed.
00:18:53And He will speak to the people in the cradle and as a people and among the righteous.
00:19:23And when He decrees a matter, He only says to it, Be, and it is.
00:19:42And He teaches it the Scripture and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel.
00:20:12And I will give you the form of a bird and you will breathe in it and it will be a bird, by permission of Allah.
00:20:25And I will make the blind and the lame innocent and I will give life to the dead, by permission of Allah.
00:20:32And I will inform you of what you eat and what you spend in your homes. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.
00:20:51And confirming what was before me of the Torah, and that I may make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you.
00:21:03And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allah and obey me.
00:21:13Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path.
00:21:24And when Jesus perceived among them disbelief, he said, Who are his helpers to Allah?
00:21:37The disciples said, We are helpers of Allah. We believe in Allah.
00:21:49And he testified that we are Muslims.
00:21:54Our Lord, we believe in what You have sent down, and we followed the Messenger, so record us with the witnesses.
00:22:11And they conspired, and Allah conspired, and Allah is the best of conspirators.
00:22:22When Allah said, O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Me and purify you from those who disbelieve.
00:22:37And place those who follow you above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection.
00:22:46Then to Me is your return, so I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.
00:22:58As for those who disbelieve, I will punish them a severe punishment in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.
00:23:16And as for those who believe and do righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards. And Allah does not like the wrongdoers.
00:23:31That is what We recite to you of the verses and the wise remembrance.
00:23:40Indeed, the likeness of Jesus with Allah is like the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then said to him, Be, and he was.
00:23:58The truth is from your Lord, so do not be of the doubters.
00:24:05So whoever argues with you about it after knowledge has come to you, say, Come, let us invite our sons and your sons and our women and your women and ourselves
00:24:31and our souls and your souls. Then we will try and put the curse of Allah on the liars.
00:24:43Indeed, this is the true story, and there is no deity except Allah. And indeed, Allah is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
00:24:58So if they turn away, then indeed, Allah is Knowing of the corrupters.
00:25:07Say, O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equal between us and you, that we worship none but Allah
00:25:32and that we associate nothing with Him, and that we do not take each other as lords other than Allah.
00:25:48So if they turn away, then say, Witness that we have submitted.
00:25:57O People of the Scripture, why do you argue concerning Abraham?
00:26:08And the Torah and the Gospel were not sent down except after him. Do you not understand?
00:26:23Here you are arguing concerning that of which you have knowledge. So why do you argue concerning that of which you have no knowledge? And Allah knows and you do not know.
00:26:51Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a devout Muslim, and he was not of the polytheists.
00:27:11Indeed, the most worthy of the people of Abraham are those who follow him, and this is the Prophet and those who have believed. And Allah is the Protector of the believers.
00:27:29Some of the People of the Scripture would like to mislead you, but they mislead not except themselves, and they perceive not.
00:27:46O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the signs of Allah while you are witnessing?
00:27:57O People of the Scripture, why do you cover the truth with falsehood and conceal the truth while you know?
00:28:11And a group of the People of the Scripture said, Believe in what has been revealed to those who have believed at the beginning of the day and disbelieve in the Hereafter that they may return.
00:28:35And believe not except in that which is in your religion. Say, Indeed, the guidance is the guidance of Allah, that no one should be given like that which you have been given, or that they should argue with you in the presence of your Lord.
00:28:57Say, Indeed, the bounty is in the hand of Allah. He gives it to whom He wills, and Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.
00:29:10He selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allah is the Possessor of Great Bounty.
00:29:21And of the People of the Scripture are some whom, if you believe, they will give you a quintal, and of them are some whom, if you believe, they will give you a dinar that they will not give to you except as long as you stand firm on it.
00:29:45That is because they say, There is not for us among the unlettered a way, and they say about Allah the lie while they know.
00:30:03Yes, whoever fulfills his covenant and is righteous, then indeed, Allah loves the righteous.
00:30:13Indeed, those who buy with the covenant of Allah and their oaths a small price, those will have no intercession for them in the Hereafter, nor will Allah speak to them,
00:30:36nor will Allah look to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, and for them is a painful punishment.
00:30:53And indeed, among them is a party who stain their tongues with the Scripture that you may think it is of the Scripture, but it is not of the Scripture,
00:31:11and they say, It is from Allah, and it is not from Allah, and they say about Allah the lie while they know.
00:31:26It is not for a human being that Allah should give him the Scripture and judgment and prophethood,
00:31:36then He says to the people, Be My servants besides Allah, but be Rabbani because of what you used to teach the Scripture
00:32:04and because of what you used to teach.
00:32:09And He does not command you to take the angels and the prophets as lords.
00:32:20Does He command you to disbelieve after you have submitted?
00:32:31And when Allah took the covenant of the prophets, I did not give you any book or wisdom.
00:32:45Then there came to you a messenger confirming what was with you. You will believe in him and you will support him.
00:33:00He said, Have you decided and taken upon that my support?
00:33:07They said, We have decided.
00:33:11He said, Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses.
00:33:17But whoever turns away after that, then those are the defiantly disobedient.
00:33:27Is it other than the religion of Allah that they desire, and to Him has submitted whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him they will be returned?
00:33:44Say, We believe in Allah and what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the seven, and what was given.
00:34:14And what was given to Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are to Him submissive.
00:34:31And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him, and he is in the Hereafter among the losers.
00:34:47How can Allah guide a people who disbelieve after their belief and bear witness that the Messenger is true and clear proofs have come to them? And Allah does not guide a people who are wrongdoers.
00:35:13Those are their reward, that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and the people all together.
00:35:28They will abide therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be given respite.
00:35:38Except those who repent after that and amend, for indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
00:35:49Indeed, those who disbelieve after their belief and then increase in disbelief, their repentance will not be accepted, and it is those who are astray.
00:36:10Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers, not one of them will be accepted.
00:36:26Those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers, not one of them will be accepted.
00:36:44You will not attain righteousness until you spend from that which you love. And whatever you spend, indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.
00:37:04All food is lawful for the Children of Israel, except what Israel has forbidden to itself before the Torah was sent down.
00:37:25Say, then, bring the Torah, and recite it, if you should be truthful.
00:37:36But whoever invents a lie against Allah after that, it is they who are the wrongdoers.
00:37:47Say, Allah has spoken the truth, so follow the religion of Abraham, turning away, and he was not of the polytheists.
00:38:00Indeed, the first house set for the people was that in Bakkah, blessed and a guidance for the worlds.
00:38:14In it are clear signs, the station of Abraham, and whoever entered it was secure.
00:38:26And to Allah is upon the people the pilgrimage of the House, whoever is able to go to it.
00:38:35And whoever disbelieves, indeed, Allah is Free of need of the worlds.
00:38:46Say, O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the signs of Allah? And Allah is Witness over what you do.
00:39:00Say, O People of the Scripture, why do you turn away from the way of Allah those who believe, desiring it crookedly, while you are witnesses? And Allah is not unaware of what you do.
00:39:26O you who have believed, if you obey a party of those who were given the Scripture, they will return you to disbelief after your belief.
00:39:53And how can you disbelieve when the signs of Allah are recited to you, and among you is His Messenger? And whoever holds fast to Allah has been guided to a straight path.
00:40:17O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims.
00:40:39And hold fast to the rope of Allah, all of you, and be not divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you when you were enemies, and He brought your hearts together,
00:41:03and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His signs, that you may be guided.
00:41:30And let there be among you a community that invites to good, and enjoins what is right, and forbids what is wrong. And it is they who are the successful.
00:41:53And be not like those who were divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them. And those will have a great punishment.
00:42:23As for those whose faces have turned black, have you disbelieved after your belief? So taste the punishment for what you used to disbelieve.
00:42:43And as for those whose faces have turned white, then in the mercy of Allah they will abide eternally.
00:42:59These are the signs of Allah. We recite them to you in truth. And Allah does not want wrong to the worlds. And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And to Allah are returned the affairs.
00:43:29Thus does Allah make clear to you His signs, that you may be guided. And let there be among you a community that invites to good, and enjoins what is right, and forbids what is wrong. And it is they who are the successful.
00:44:00They will not harm you except in harm. And if they fight you, they will turn their backs to you. Then they will not be helped.
00:44:17The humiliation has been imposed upon them wherever they are found, except by a rope from Allah and a rope from the people. And they have incurred the wrath of Allah.
00:44:39And they have incurred the wrath of Allah. And the punishment has been imposed upon them. That is because they used to disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the prophets without right. That is because they disobeyed and used to transgress.
00:45:09They are not equal. Among the People of the Book is a standing nation reciting the signs of Allah during the night while they are prostrating.
00:45:32They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong, and hasten to good deeds. And those are of the righteous.
00:45:53And whatever good they do, they will not be disbelieved. And Allah is Knowing of the righteous.
00:46:23And the companions of the Fire, they will abide therein eternally.
00:46:53O you who have believed, do not take as bait other than yourselves. They will not harm you in the least.
00:47:11Indeed, We have made clear to you the signs, if you should understand.
00:47:36Here are those whom you love, but they do not love you. And you believe in the Book, all of it.
00:47:50And when they meet you, they say, We have believed. And when they have passed away, they lay down on you their fingers of anger. Say, Die with your anger. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that which is in the breasts.
00:48:15If good touches you, it makes them evil. And if evil befalls you, they rejoice in it. And if you are patient and righteous, their plan will not harm you at all. Indeed, Allah, of what they do, is Encompassing.
00:48:46And when you left your family, you placed the believers in places of battle. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.
00:49:00When the two parties among you were concerned that you should fail, and Allah was their protector. And upon Allah let the believers put their trust.
00:49:17And indeed, Allah has helped you with Badr while you were in humiliation. So fear Allah that you may be grateful.
00:49:47Yes, if you are patient and righteous and they come to you at once, your Lord will support you with five thousand angels.
00:50:18And Allah has made it only as good tidings for you and to reassure your hearts thereby. And there is no help except from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
00:50:39That He may cut off a portion of those who disbelieve or make them weak, and turn them back in despair.
00:50:52You have no authority to do anything, or to accept their repentance or to punish them, for indeed, they are wrongdoers.
00:51:05And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
00:51:24O you who have believed, do not consume interest double or triple. And fear Allah that you may succeed.
00:51:45And fear the Fire which has been prepared for the disbelievers.
00:51:51And obey Allah and the Messenger that you may be shown mercy.
00:51:59And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden whose width is the heavens and the earth, prepared for the righteous.
00:52:18Those who spend in secrecy and adversity, and who hold back anger and pardon people. And Allah loves the doers of good.
00:52:44And those who, when they do an immorality or wrong themselves, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins.
00:52:59And who forgives sins except Allah? And they persist not in what they have done, while they know.
00:53:16Those, their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein. And excellent is the reward of those who do good.
00:53:41There have passed on before you ways, so travel through the land and see how was the end of the deniers.
00:53:57This is a statement for the people and a guidance and an admonition for the righteous.
00:54:07And be not weak or grieve, and you are the most high, if you should be believers.
00:54:23If a scourge touches you, a scourge like it has touched the people. And those are the days which We make to pass among the people.
00:54:40And that Allah may know those who have believed and take from you witnesses. And Allah does not like the wrongdoers.
00:54:55And that Allah may purify those who have believed and destroy the disbelievers.
00:55:03Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah does not know those who strive among you and knows the patient?
00:55:24And you had desired death before you met it, but you saw it while you were looking.
00:55:47And Muhammad is not but a messenger. The messengers have passed on before him.
00:55:57So if they die or are killed, will you turn back on your heels?
00:56:06And whoever turns back on his heels, he will not harm Allah at all.
00:56:15And Allah will reward the grateful.
00:56:19And it is not for a soul to die except by permission of Allah, a prescribed decree.
00:56:30And whoever desires the reward of this world, We will give him of it, and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, We will give him of it, and We will reward the grateful.
00:56:47And how many of the prophets with whom the Rabbis fought were many, but they were not weak for what befell them in the way of Allah, nor were they weak, nor were they steadfast. And Allah loves the patient.
00:57:14And their word was not but that they said,
00:57:20And they said, Our Lord, forgive us our sins and our excesses in our affair and make firm our feet and help us against the disbelieving people.
00:57:43So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the good reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves the doers of good.
00:58:13We will cast into the hearts of those who disbelieve the terror of what they associate with Allah, which He has not sent down as authority.
00:58:41And their abode is the Fire, and wretched is the abode of the wrongdoers.
00:59:11After I have seen you, what do you love?
00:59:42When you ascend and do not deceive anyone, and the Messenger invites you among yourselves,
00:59:58then he will cause you to regret a regret so that you will not grieve over what has passed you or what has befallen you. And Allah is patient in what you do.
01:00:24Then He will send down upon you, after the distress, a hope of hope that will cover a party of you
01:00:40And a party whose souls have already troubled them, thinking of Allah other than the truth, thinking of the Jahiliyyah, saying,
01:01:00Is there for us of the matter any thing? Say, Indeed, the matter is all for Allah. They conceal within themselves that which they do not reveal to you.
01:01:19They say, If there were for us of the matter any thing, we would not have killed it here. Say, If you were in your houses, those who have been ordained to kill would have come out to their beds,
01:01:40And that Allah may test what is in your breasts and that He may test what is in your hearts. And Allah is Knowing of that which is in the breasts.
01:01:55Indeed, those of you who turned away on the Day the two groups met, it was Satan who brought them down because of some of what they had earned. And indeed, Allah has pardoned them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving.
01:02:25Indeed, Allah is Forgiving.
01:02:55And indeed, if you are killed in the cause of Allah or die, there is forgiveness from Allah and mercy better than death.
01:03:24And indeed, if you are killed in the cause of Allah or die, there is forgiveness from Allah and mercy better than death.
01:03:25And indeed, if you are killed in the cause of Allah or die, there is forgiveness from Allah and mercy better than death.
01:03:27And indeed, if you are killed in the cause of Allah or die, there is forgiveness from Allah and mercy better than death.
01:03:35So because of the mercy of Allah, you are to them. And if you should be a strong burst of the heart, they would not burst from around you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them concerning the matter.
01:03:58So when you have decided, put your trust in Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who put their trust.
01:04:28So when you have decided, put your trust in Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who put their trust.
01:04:56Then is he who follows the pleasure of Allah like one who comes with a wrath from Allah and his abode is Hell and an evil destination?
01:05:16They are grades with Allah, and Allah is Seeing of what they do.
01:05:46And if they were before, they would be in clear error.
01:06:01And when a calamity befell you, and you were struck by two like it, you said, How is this? Say, It is from your own selves. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
01:06:30And what struck you on the Day the two groups met, it was by permission of Allah, and that He might make known to the believers.
01:06:41And that He might make known to the hypocrites, and it was said to them, Come, fight in the cause of Allah or retreat.
01:06:54They said, If only we knew how to fight, we would have followed you. They are to disbelief on that Day closer than they are to faith. They say with their mouths that which is not in their hearts, and Allah is most knowing of what they conceal.
01:07:22Those who say to their brothers and sit down, If they had obeyed us, they would not have been killed. Say, Then avoid death for yourselves, if you should be truthful.
01:07:41And do not think that those who are killed in the cause of Allah are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, being provided for.
01:07:59Rejoicing in what Allah has given them of His bounty, and rejoicing in those who have not yet joined them from behind them, that there is no fear for them, nor do they grieve.
01:08:24Rejoicing in what Allah has given them of His bounty, and rejoicing in those who have not yet joined them from behind them, that there is no fear for them, nor do they grieve.
01:08:54Those who said to them, Indeed, the people have gathered for you, so fear them. So he increased them in faith and said, Sufficient for us is Allah and excellent is the guardian.
01:09:21So they returned with a favor from Allah and a bounty which was not touched by evil, and they followed the pleasure of Allah. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
01:09:39That is only because Satan threatens his protectors. So do not fear them, and fear Me, if you should be believers.
01:09:55And let not those grieve you who hasten to disbelief. Indeed, they will not harm Allah at all. Allah intends that He will not give them a share in the Hereafter, and for them is a great punishment.
01:10:17Indeed, those who have purchased disbelief by belief, they will not harm Allah at all, and for them is a painful punishment.
01:10:47Indeed, they will not harm Allah at all, and for them is a painful punishment.
01:11:18But Allah chooses from His messengers whom He wills, so believe in Allah and His messengers. And if you believe and fear Him, then for you is a great reward.
01:11:40And let not those who are stingy because of what Allah has given them of His bounty think that it is good for them.
01:11:53Rather, it is bad for them. They will be overwhelmed by what they are stingy about on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is Aware of what you do.
01:12:13Indeed, Allah has heard the words of those who said,
01:12:19Indeed, Allah is poor and we are rich.
01:12:26We will record what they said and kill them, the prophets, without right. And We say, Taste the punishment of the Fire.
01:12:41That is because of what your hands have sent forth, and because Allah is not unjust to the servant.
01:12:54Those who said, Indeed, Allah has promised us that we will not believe in a messenger until he brings us a sacrifice which the Fire will eat.
01:13:13Say, There had come to you messengers before me with clear proofs and with what you said, so why did you kill them, if you should be truthful?
01:13:32But if they deny you, then messengers before you were denied. They came with clear proofs and scriptures and the enlightening Book.
01:13:50Every soul will taste death. And you will only be paid in full your rewards on the Day of Resurrection.
01:14:04So whoever is removed from the Fire and is admitted into Paradise has certainly triumphed. And the life of this world is nothing but the enjoyment of delusion.
01:14:23You will certainly be tested in your wealth and yourselves, and you will certainly hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who ascribed partners to Allah much harm.
01:14:50And if you are patient and fear Allah, then indeed, that is of the determination of affairs.
01:15:03And when Allah took the covenant of those who were given the Scripture, saying, You will certainly make it clear to the people and you will not conceal it, they threw it behind their backs and bought with it a small price.
01:15:25So evil is that which they buy. Do not think of those who rejoice in what they have come and love to be praised for what they have not done. So do not think of them a gain from the punishment. And for them is a painful punishment.
01:15:55And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is over all things competent.
01:16:10Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding
01:16:40Our Lord, You have not created this in vain. Exalted are You above us in the punishment of the Fire.
01:16:58Our Lord, indeed whoever You admit to the Fire, You have disgraced him, and for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.
01:17:28Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and take us with the righteous.
01:17:55Our Lord, and give us what You have promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in the promise.
01:18:15So their Lord responded to them, saying, I do not waste the work of any of you, male or female, some of you from another.
01:18:41So those who emigrated and were driven out of their homes and were harmed in My way and fought and were killed, I will surely remove from them their misdeeds and I will surely admit them to gardens
01:19:09under which rivers flow as a reward from Allah. And Allah, with Him, is the best reward.
01:19:31Do not be deceived by the movement of those who disbelieve in the land. A brief enjoyment, then their abode is Hell and an evil resting place.
01:19:49But those who fear their Lord, for them are gardens under which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein as a reward from Allah. And that which is with Allah is best for the righteous.
01:20:16And indeed, from among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in Allah and what has been revealed to you and what has been revealed to them,
01:20:34and who are submissive to Allah. They will not buy the signs of Allah for a short time. Those will have their reward with their Lord. Indeed, Allah is swift in reckoning.
01:21:04And those who have believed, be patient, and be steadfast, and be firm, and fear Allah that you may succeed.
