00:00With back-to-back sold-out performances from Taylor Swift at Anfield, a packed
00:05lineup are gathering huge crowds for Africa Oye and Deacon Blue performing
00:10their hits on the waterfront on Sunday. There is no shortage of live music
00:15events in the city. We have been on the streets of Liverpool to ask about your
00:19best live music experience. I think it's possibly between Phil Collins and Cliff
00:28Richard because I was taken to Cliff Richard when I was seven and it's still
00:34this is still in my mind I can still remember it quite simply because he was
00:38wearing this white outfit that was tight and you're just thinking that's not
00:43really very appropriate is it now now that makes no difference whatsoever you
00:47know. Oh yeah that was the best concert ever and it was just so really like
00:53dead like live and it was just fun to be there and it's just like nice and
01:01chilled you know you can sit and watch music and yeah it's very good. I've seen
01:08Elton John in witness he was amazing. I like the stadium. Our musical reputation is
01:16built around the city's innate ability to continue to generate talent like no
01:20other place on earth but what makes a live music experience unforgettable? It
01:25was in a really small little place I think so because it was being held in a
01:30smaller venue you felt far more part of it nowadays they put it in like the Echo
01:36Arena you're one of about goodness knows how many people I've been to one recently
01:40there George Ezra last year and it didn't you didn't feel the same. Everybody
01:47cheering and clapping. The people who are performing it, the singers and the
01:55drummers and also all the public.
