00:12in 2007, who raised £1.8 million while battling terminal cancer, the Leeds 10K continues to
00:19fundraise for a range of charities and will take place on Sunday the 23rd of June.
00:25Runners set off from the University of Leeds Parkinson building at 9am, before making their
00:29way through Headingley and Meanwood, before finishing on the Head Row. There's also a
00:34shorter Mini and Junior run, also starting from the Parkinson building, from 9.45am.
00:40The event will require the closure of a number of roads and junctions, with the Head Row,
00:44Cookridge Street, Great George Street and Woodhouse Lane among the roads impacted from
00:494am on Sunday. A full list of road closures and reopening times, plus bus diversion details
00:56across the region, can be found online.
